Is MTG implying the freedom caucus are Dem stooges? This tweet is weird. Also, isn't Gosar the guy that tweeted the weird anime thing of AOC that freaked her out? If so, this is even funnier.

Nah.
Bunch of the congresspeople have missed.
Crenshaw (TX) was a no-vote as well.

The roll caller will read their names again at the end, following the completion of the roll call.

These last two days for her reek of “I’m finally in the club and I will be damned if anyone forces me out”

Anyone who misses their turn still gets a chance at the end to vote.

As a side note, this process was NOT meant for 438 members

They need to work on something electronic

Indeed, I watched that bannon interview live and thought the same thing. She is off the rails here and can no longer be trusted.

The way the clerks ended the last rounds makes it seem like there was an opportunity to either include any votes missed or change your vote.

I'll be looking for it this time.

I would assume you get a chance to change your vote as all other votes provide a short time at the end for missing votes and to change it. You see it all of the time in the Senate where the losing side will switch their vote to the winning side because of a rule that you can't request certain motions unless you voted on the winning side.

Agreed. Pretty absurd that they don't vote using the same software they use for ordinary votes on legislation.

Just let them mail in the Speaker ballots. Jeffries would win with 13,000.

Don McEachin would absolutely vote in that election

She didn’t miss before; she voted present.

She didn’t vote “present” when they called her name the first time. She voted “present” at the end when they called the names of people who didn’t vote when they called role

That’s what I was referring to

Getting real close to 50% of those voting for Jeffries to win with all of these missing the initial vote.
