Venezuela and Maduro are in Trump's crosshairs, and it's just a matter of the right time. They truly are harming American citizens and supporting Cartel operations which undermine National and personal security.

Maduro's days are numbered. His own people will likely take him out for the pain and suffering he has inflicted on them.

I’d love to know what our CIA and DEA are up to in the region. You know the have something brewing.

They would be guilty of some form of malfeasance is they weren't doing work, sd. I think Maduro has such a tight leash on the people with the threat of serious harm that they are afraid to do anything. And as usual, per our recent history, that if they act that there is a big chance that another Administration leaves them hanging (literally) in the wind. Afghanistan being the latest cut and run and leave those who stood up. Nobody should trust the US anymore; we've lost cred. Justifiably so.

I don’t know about missiles but yes, the Coast Guard routinely shoots at suspected drug boats outside of US territorial waters. They normally use a machine gun or sniper rifle to shoot out the engines and then they board and arrest the smugglers. There’s hundreds of videos of it on YouTube

We’re not IN Venezuela. This story is about a boat that left Venezuela with a final destination =\= Venezuela.

Please try to keep up, I know its hard for you.

Oh. I didn’t realize they killed them.

Good, it’s about time we turned the War on Drugs into an actual war.

Intercept it in U.S. waters. Blowing vessels up in international waters, especially if it was near Aruba as one poster said, is pretty fricked up.

America is awash with dirty cash …. it corrupts every single inch of our society , is a major cause of death, and contributes heavily in the crime epidemic. These drug cartels are designated terrorists by the US Government ….. these same cartels conduct billions in revenue every single month …. and pay no taxes, of course.

And there are no standards, no controls, no regulations on quality. People generally have no idea what they are actually purchasing

Trump is right to fight back …. disrupt their distribution, seize their assets, their submarines and product in transit.

The message must be delivered … we will no longer allow a position that openly threatens the US and its citizenry. We especially won’t allow it in our hemisphere (Monroe Doctrine).

It’s sad to see MAGA world support actions they would normally oppose with simple re-branding such as “peace through strength” or “fighting narco terror.”

I supported Biden, Obama and Clinton when they interdicted drug smugglers, especially when they used lethal force.

I like the idea that, under Trump, we are basically pirates to our enemies and strong partners to our friends.
