And that has nothing to do with the deficit, or a discussion of the deficit, speaking of being on topic.

Luckily for me, I didn't suggest otherwise. I was pretty specific as to what my point was.

Then what was your point of saying “Dems opposed it” multiple times?

DOGE never had the ability to stop spending, and it found minutia on the fringe and non-fraud programs like USAID

Now that's funny as hell I don't care who you are.

You can dislike USAID spending on policy grounds, but it's not fraud. It's specifically allocated spending from Congress

The issue with DOGE cuts and the USAID cuts is most of them were not codified by Congress so the next guy can just bring them back.

The deficit is over 6% of total GDP. So we need to grow the economy at a rate 7% or better to grow ourselves out of debt.

Or cut something, maybe.

Your first post

quote:

Doge faced constant headwinds. Let that sink in. Clearly, a large contingent of politicians do not care about the deficit.

DOGE could only analyze allocated spending. It couldn't affect the deficit.

Yeah but that’s just recycled jibberish.

The “constant headwinds” were not dems fault.

It was an operation run by corrupt clowns. THERE’S your “headwinds”.
