I'm generally not in favor of international involvement, but a long-provocative Iranian regime in the midst of being toppled is one that you seize upon.

We don’t have any carriers in the gulf currently.
It would take 7- 10 days for one to get there.

Your opinion is not supported by evidence.
You know what weaken led our military?
“Vaccine” mandates and the acceptance (and promotion) of mental illness.
Lastly, did you serve in the US military? If so, which service, and when?

I fully suspect Iran has sleeper cells here in the US that are going to cause mayhem inside the USA if we attack Iran.
Hoping I'm incorrect.

All for helping the French. Did not know they were in the middle of a revolution, though.

Why?
They may be less “westernized” than those protesting in Iran.

We did that already by bombing their nuke sites.
How big a chicken little are you?

I like that we are signaling support but not automatically jumping headlong into tipping things in the favor of the protestors via military strikes from the jump. You have to let the populace earn their freedom via the taking back of their country from the regime. If you simply do it for them, they won't appreciate in a way shedding their own blood makes them appreciate it. You also don't want to just start launching waves of attacks and run the risk of being perceived as an invading force taking advantage of conditions inside Iran. That has a way of rallying current enemies into opposition against you

Without sizable defections from the Iranian military, the revolt is doomed. The military has either elected to back the regime or have not decided yet. The US is not going in unless there is an organized opposition.

2 Boeing KC-135R tanker aircraft took off from a base in Qatar earlier today.
I would say "Muslim Michigan" but our MI gives them a run for their money on that account.

In either case, we don't want our fingerprints [publicly] on it. We should do what we need to do to surreptitiously 'nudge' the military to revolt. But unless they openly side with the rebels it is doomed in one fashion or another.

And what exactly are the US forces going to? Help Iranian citizens overthrow the regime?
Yes

Personally, we should be ok with either with a preference for a civilian 'ruling council'. Insisting on democracy and especially having elections, especially early on, is a recipe for disaster.
American public needs to be prepared for that. Trump admin needs to be prepared for the left and their media allies to spin it as a 'failure' when that happens.
The failure would be for the USA to dictate to the people of Iran who overthrew the government at great cost without international assistance what to do with their government.

There are B-2's at Deago all the time. They either fly from Whiteman or Fairford
