I think everyone and their mother predicted this from the start. It's just insane that it took this long and it really didn't have to. I said it back in February and I'll say it again in June, Putin should have waited for summer to invade. Ukraine is very similar to Russia climate-wise and attacking in winter never goes well for anyone, not even the Russians. Thousands of Russian lives could have been spared had he just waited until the weather changed.

All that money and weapons we sent didn’t save lives. It protracted the situation and cost more lives.

The Ukrainians were giving every indication they were about to attack and overrun the Donbass. Wait till Summer and the Donbass + possibly Crimea would have been lost.

Yes, that music. The fact is they live next to an aggressive dictatorship and we cant protect them forever from the implications of that fact. The outcome was inevitable and we have simply prolonged it and cost ourselves money and Ukrainian lives in the process

The Ukrainian military has nothing on the discipline and skill of the Japanese and German militaries of World War II. Their population is also a lot smaller than those two countries. Germany was a nation of 90 million people in 1939, Japan was a nation of over 73 million people in 1941, Ukraine is a nation of 44 million in 2022.

Yep... as expected. Anyone that believed any of the garbage from our media about Ukraine winning was completely devoid of common sense and logic.
Ukraine never stood a chance. U.S. could have stopped this but it would have taken a competent president with the will to stop Russia.
The stories out of Ukraine about LGBTQ suffering worse, blacks suffering worse, Russians attacking and capturing Chernobyl, massacres and executions of civilians, etc... was all made up bullshite.
This was never going to turn out differently.
