What’s happening now is a dick measuring competition between the West (mainly Biden Admin) and Putin.
Putin will keep riding this out through winter. He will love to freeze out Europe and put the pressure on the West to push
Ukraine to accept a deal that sees them ceding eastern Ukraine and west to Kherson.

The fault falls on zelensky. That cowardly piece of shite is sacrificing his own countrymen in order to appease his master, us.
We made it clear we weren't going to send reinforcements early on. All the western countries made that clear. So it was obviously an unwinnable war. But he keeps feeding his countrymen into the war machine. The lives of the citizens don't seem to mean shite to him, he'll probably only negotiate and surrender if the war gets too close to him personally.
I pity the Ukrainian citizens. That war has a monumental impact on their country, but their leadership is more focused on hobnobbing it with foreign elites. Leadership doesn't even dare to bitch about most of the weapons and funds not reaching the front lines.

Seems legit. If Ukraine had lost half their forces this world be over, no armed force can withstand losing 50% of their personnel in a couple months. 10% would be debilitating. This is kinda like Russia claiming to have destroyed 600% of the Ukraine air force yet planes still flying every day

Yep....170 days in and Russia is still bogged down in the east even though Ukraine has lost 50% of their forces lol....allegedly of course from some random person on twitter.

I figured the Russians would have steamrolled the Ukrainians within a couple of weeks. The Ukrainians have fought harder and better than I would have imagined. Now, whether or not that is by design, I don't know. Anyway, even though the Russians have had their nose bloodied, there is no way the Ukrainians would be able to win the war of attrition that it has become.

Btw, let’s just say all of this is true, well then how in the hell has Russia still not been able to wipe out Ukraine yet? I mean, if a military like Ukraine, is down half its forces, then a big military power like Russia, should have been able to finish this war weeks ago. Also, if Ukraine is this bad off, then why is Russia trying to use North Korean soldiers for their war, old and washed up men, and why do they have to get drones from Iran? Surely there’s someone a little bit better that they could buy drones from, or better yet, since they’re such a big military power, why can’t they just develop their own drones?
