UCLA prof facing termination for not supporting PC

Somewhat of a spinoff from the ITT course thread regarding the (sorry) state of higher academia.
The university somehow "forgot" to include at least one student letter which actively supported him (while including, of course, many from SJW's who don't).

I predict a breaking point with academia. And it won't come about just because of any PC backlash, but because of the pending student loan bubble bursting. This will topple the ivory tower with the fallout being a similar kind of corporate welfare collapse we saw in the 2000s.

I don't agree with the fact that these teachers have "tenure", but in this particular case I hope Mr. Fink has exactly that.

There's a book called Pendulum that deals with these generational shifts. I believe the author predicts the shift doesn't occur until 2023

Here is what I think will happen:
State/Public Research institutions with large endowments at stake will push this SJW stuff as far as it will go. However, college-minded parents (and especially alumni/legacy types) will begin sending their kids to private (sectarian) schools. Donors and boosters of the former schools will also diminish their funding. The corporate welfare state that is the public institution will become too large and collapse; it simply cannot be sustained.
