Puerto Rico had some fine solar and wind farms paid from by American taxpayers, but the hurricane ate them.

So all people were on the "global warming" bandwagon prior to 2016. Got it. Smfh

When putting all these events together, how can anyone not agree there's a climate emergency?
So dramatic. As if climate change hasn't been occurring since the beginning of time. "Recorded history" is barely a drop in the ocean of time. Hey...in case you didn't know, earth use to essentially have only one landmass. Crazy huh??
You fail to prove that it's man-made though. And how all of these renewable options are truly a better solution that will stop this so called "emergency" of yours.
Get back to the drawing board on your alarmist hissy fit. Until then many of us will learn to adapt to the ebbs and flows of Mother Natures menopause, just like everyone in the history of the world has done.

Now one destructive EF3 tornado in Texas in April doesn't affirm climate change, but...please remove your Trump-colored glasses and just look around you at today's weather across America:
I remember quite well when I was in 3rd grade (1986) and the hole in the ozone was causing severe weather all over the planet. If we didn't close the hole the world was going to end because the Polar ice caps would melt.
Guess what? There is more ice in the antarctic than there was then.

Yet I recently read they wanted some near Galveston. Surely nothing tropical would damage them.
On a different note you’d think someone would have mastered some kind of generator based on tidal movement.

We can always rely on solar!

Water packs 800 times the power of wind and most of the world is covered in ocean. Waves generally run 24/7 all years.

There is a small generator up in Canada on a town next to the Bay of Fundy that has been working for at least 50 years.
Several decades ago the French announced a pilot plan to harvest Atlantic tidal energy. I haven't seen a followup from pre internet days.
The Rance Tidal Power Station in France was opened in 1966 and was the largest in the world until a larger one opened in Korea.

Probably not enough government subsidies.
All kidding aside, it would have been awesome to see what Tesla could have really done. His idea of capturing “free” energy based on the magnetic field was interesting. Lots of modern technologies were written in his notes a 100 years ago and believed to be impractical.

Marxist motto
“The ends justify the means”
To end the greatest free country on the planet by all means necessary. Make the USA incompetent and beholden to the world. Their plan is working like a charm!

Super ugly, and they are even worse in the water, US GULF, Atlantic & Pacific Oceans.
Screws with the navigation and seafarers safety!
I hate windmills the most out of all alternatives, and that’s saying a lot!

As someone, like so many, who grew up staring out the back window of the family car as we road tripped all around this nation, it is really sad how much landscape of this country has been ruined by the hippies that said they were "earth first".
I'm looking forward to seeing the report that states how many carbon credits this windmill company will be charged for all of that black smoke it emitted into the air....oh right that's (d)ifferent.
