You can sue anyone. It doesn’t mean you’ll collect.

Musk will show they couldn’t/wouldn’t give him the data he requested in order to properly evaluate the company.

Better have that bot % documentation ready for the date when you sent it to Elon…..not what it is today…..

They will have to reveal the actual number of real accounts vs. bots. Elon allowed them to get painted into a corner. He wins either way

Twitter was fricked from the day Elon expressed interest. I enjoy twitter but will also enjoy it if they burn themselves to the ground.

I'm sure since Elon has vocalized his voting preference going forward, some government entity will move to protect Twitter and force his hand. I guess time will tell

Can you imagine being the individual (or tiger-team) responsible for magically coming up with the documentation needed to hit that 4.9% number?

Their life must suck beyond all sucking.

I’m not sure he has a particularly strong case for this. I think they settle out of court and he gets a discounted price.

It will probably be 5-10 years before this is resolved.

By that time Twitter will probably be dead or significantly weaker. Especially with the woke backlash.

All but guarantees that Twitter will have to publicize their bot counts now.

I’m still loving the fact that no matter what Musk does, Twitter and its employees are flipping their shite.

Musk offers a buyout? Rage.

Musk withdraws offer? Rage.

Musk gets a case of diet soda? Rage.

How would that work exactly? Genuinely curious. Would they have done some type of time stamped snapshot of the user database or something

Seems like it’d be insanely complicated for either side to use to their benefit

But then again I know literally nothing about what I’m asking

Not at all. = didn't join until Musk started this up.

Now I want them destroyed - or else have Musk turn it into what it should be = an open forum for political discussion.

How do you figure?

Musk made the offer based on the company information that Twitter reported. The user count is a significant portion of the value of the company, if that count includes a hefty chunk of bots rather than real users, the company has less value. Twitter has been reporting that user count to SEC (defrauding shareholders if it's false) and advertisers.
