Yes lots of soundbites, blockbuster revelations on Fox News, threats of action, strongly worded statements, promises that “nobody is above the law.” That’s what’s happening so far. Where have I heard this before? Same as the last 10 years. Wake me when anybody above a low level staffer in Brennan’s office is arrested, tried and convicted of serious crimes.
Expectations of actual results - and waiting until they happen before spiking the ball - is not nihilism. It’s observation and recognition of objective truth.
