There is a small but potentially important segment of Democrats who absolutely despise Joe Biden. The Glenn Greenwald/Tulsi Gabbard wing of the party are just as non-interventionist when it comes to foreign policy as Rand Paul. Highlighting Biden's insane foreign policy and Trump's opposition to never-ending wars and nation building may remind these people how the neocons have completely co-opted the Democratic Party. Getting these people to either stay at home on election day or vote 3rd party is a win for Trump.

That would be political suicide for her. Hawaii is like 70% DEM. If she wants to run for another term, she would never do that. She has already endorsed Sleepy Joe.

It is not completely out of the question. Her positions on defense and troop deployment are pretty close to Trump's. She was considered for a position in the administration for a bit.

She is not going to endorse Trump. She has promised to support Biden.
But she will not be an enthusiastic supporter.
What is sad is that so few of you admire her for trying to end our policy of arming terrorists in the ME with her Stop Arming Terrorists Act. No one ever denied that her bill addressed a real problem and huge contradiction in US policy, they just ignored it. Not even Bernie would co-sponsor her bill, though Rand Paul did.
She is the only leader in the Congress with the courage to talk about how the US armed and backed AQ in Syria against Assad, and for that, she was labeled an Assad apologist. She never made excuses for Assad, but I will. If any US president had to face what Assad did (well armed Islamic extremists affiliated with AQ and ISIS), he would make Assad look like Mary Poppins.
But she will not be an enthusiastic supporter.

I wish but it is too good to be true. It would be one helluva a horse-trade for Kasich. If Trump could throw in Romney it would be even a better deal.
