You know, if Dan and other members of congress are upset about not getting a raise, maybe they should do what the rest of us would do - quit and go find another employer.

(Oh, yeah... You have to have marketable skills first. Damn. I guess that shoots down that option. Sorry, Dan.)

I live in his district. I happily didn’t vote for him, but didn’t vote for the Dem running against him. Our District needs a conservative Independent or Republican to run against him.

You are supposed to be preforming a "Service". Serving your country by representing the people of you district. You are not a Leader, you are a representative, you are not suppossd to be enriching yourself - if the point was to go to Washington and get rich, it wouldnt be a "Service".
If he doesnt like the pay, go home and get a real job, let someone else go "serve" for the low pay. He sure does try hard to get reelected to that low pay position for some mysterious reason.

He already makes $174K per year yet some sites claim his net worth is $8 million. Before being elected, he was not worth $8 million and has no other jobs or businesses. How does one go from nothing to $8 million in 5 years making $174K per year?

He's a greedy frick wanting an additional $70K per year.

Tucker is a big fan of Liz Warren.

quote:

“Yesterday, Warren released what she called her plan for economic patriotism. Amazingly, that’s pretty much what it is. Economic patriotism,” Carlson said, as part of a stunning monologue opening his Fox News show.

He praised the Massachusetts Democrat’s policy prescriptions and said many “make obvious sense.”

Don't watch JD Vance on Theo Von's podcast then... It was a really good podcast.

Big difference is JD uses F bombs in a militaristic way, not at his constituents.

Wasn't Crenshaw born in the UK, and grew up in Bogota Colombia?

Does Tucker give examples of why he got this feeling from him?

This ^^^ meme is superb!

quote:

It's hard to imagine that we are at a point in time where a member of Congress is publicly dropping F bombs and cursing out citizens. No decorum at all.

I don't really find it hard to imagine or accept any more. Haven't for a while.

Way I see it, with the exception of a very few people in Congress, they all feel just like Eyepatch McNoname does. He just happens to have snapped (perhaps PTSD) and just says exactly what he thinks instead of pretending to be someone else. He's a total douchebag but at least you know exactly where he stands.

I think spook assets should be barred from being eligible for Congress.

Tucker is an opportunist. He never bought into the election narrative until Fox started getting complaints and he was worried about his bottom line

Because he ran on his military record and misrepresented himself. People used to really respect politicians with a military record of service, but then people like Crenshaw came along and fricked it up. When I now see a politician that served a long tenure in the military and became involved with the spooks, it's an automatic red flag. People like Vance that did their duty and then got out, that is a little different.

It's maybe a little unfair, but it is what it is. I think it's not really his military background overall that has made him what he currently is... I think that came from his involvement with the see eye A.

Dan Crenshaw is a prime example of how just because someone is a veteran we don’t have to kiss their arse all day long

But if you ask him, he's the "true conservative." These idiots have made the word conservative synonymous with retarded.

Dan always seems frustrated, like he is conflicted. Like he wants to be more conservative, but can't, because someone has their hooks in him.
