Absolutely.
When we quit teaching American History, then opened the borders, we were doomed.

Maybe he was better suited to TV. But he exhausted possibilities there and he wants to be his own boss. Bill O'Reilly has his own news network with staff, researchers etc. Not sure what Tucker's operation is. He likely has enough money.

I was waiting for him to start a podcast and I thought when he eventually dropped one, it would be good. He's almost unlistenable. I don't know if he's just over my head or something, but it doesn't resonate and it was a little shocking honestly.

It's like when Bob Dylan put out "Self Portrait" or when Neil Young put out "Trans". Almost like intentional sabotage.

Tucker was also one of the first prominent Covidians, way out front of all the Dems. So it's more likely he's foretelling a major spending effort/rights grab to avoid the end of the American empire than he is the actual end of the American empire..

He said this morning he’s not rich. Pretty sure 30 million + is more than most. Unless he’s talking about comparing to the top 1%. Which was another weird take.

The biggest threat from Iran is its radical leadership. Hopefully, the citizens of Iran have come to appreciate a western economic standard of living enough to support a more secular government. Therefore, Israel should cut off the head of the snake and step back while the the people work out their next system of government. I'm not talking about the Bush-type regime change with direct US involvement. Rather, the US should let the Iranians work it out for themselves, but support those efforts by lowering or eliminating economic sanctions - not send USAID money over there.

TV or podcast, I just thought he was primed to just speak soberly and truthfully without a lot of theatrics or restrictions on a wide range of things, which I think we all felt he was doing at the end of his Fox tenure and immediately thereafter.

Because that's honestly the biggest gap out there - someone willing to cross lines when needed but not just for sport, who has the credibility and intellect to get into those third rail topics but not get captured by the emotion or incentives that come with outrage bait. And he was perfectly positioned for it - he has the credibility, reach, funding (I think), intellect and he didn't need to be a part time shock jock to keep viewership.

still like Tucker but he’s been different the last few weeks. He’s one guy that could run and probably win but he won’t and he continues to call ppl out then say I still support them. Very weird of him.

This is a rare moment where I agree with you. I’ve been a huge Tucker fan, but lately he’s dug himself into this “no war” regardless of the reason position that is just stupid.

The United States cannot be a 100% isolationist country and still have the economy we need/want to

News flash:

Trump is not God.

More at 11.

Anyone who thought Trump was going to change anything is ignorant of history. Corruption doesn't end through legislation. It's hard work and the American people are sill soft and havent suffered enough to want to end it.

Yeah. I really enjoyed his show the other night with the woman about SSRIs but he really hasn’t had the type of shows or guests I thought he would. It’s also weird him pushing his nicotine. End of the day I’ll still watch every show but he’s still an elite born to a cia agent. The money thing this morning on war room was really weird too with him saying he isn’t rich and he had to watch what he was saying because he was on Bannons show which I usually don’t watch.

Agreed. Its easy for him sitting on millions to sit back and criticize.... nothing that happens will directly affect him or his family. Rogan is another I used to a huge fan of but now, he's way too liberal and sometimes his views are outta touch.

Ever since that golf round with Lyndsay Graham things have not been on track with the 2nd term.

And yet, the majority of complaining is about what people think Trump might do, not about what Trump has actually done.

We are not in a war with Iran, but you would think we were with all the whining about Trump selling out to the neocons.

Trump hasn't escalated the war in Ukraine, but listening to this board, one would think Trump gave Graham the authority to do whatever he wants.

It would be great if all the whining could pause until Trump actually does something. How many times do people have to complain about Trump only for it to turn out to be untrue or overblown before they learn that jumping to conclusions makes them look foolish?

Why is it so difficult to see how things play out before acting like the worst scenario is what is actually happening when there is literally no evidence of it? (Sorry, Trump golfing with Graham is not proof Trump is selling out to the neocons no matter how hard you wish for it to be true.)

More people listen to his podcast than watched his show on fox. He has one of the most high volume pods in the world.

It'll be for the same reason that all empires fall: their people didn't heed the lessons of prior empires.

We are in a 4th turning. I need to spin up a thread on the fall of empires.

We speak of how it took hundreds of years for the Roman empire to fall. Yet if you told a Soviet in 1985 that in 4 years there would be no USSR, they would have sent you to Siberia to guard the snow. It happens gradually, then suddenly.

The only people that say we are going to get military involved in this war is the people just wants to stir the pot. No one actually believes we are going to get involved unless Iran attacks us.
