I don't read Military Times and if it's anything like Military.com the stories are about as pro-military as the NYT.
All I know is that nearly everyone in my military circle is pro-Trump.

What 3rd party exists that is going to draw 12.8% of any group of more than 50 people?

I disagree. A former boss of mine preferred the National War College (DC) over the Army War College (Carlysle, PA) and the Navy War College (Newport News, RI) because of family reasons.
Had you said that no decent officer chooses DC because they LOVE the Pentagon and the Beltway, that would be more accurate.

Pretty sure you wouldn't get away with calling a G6 (LTC), especially the ones I've worked for, a SIGO to their faces as a Captain.
No Captains in the Brigade I was the S6 of would dare call me that to my face. The one Troop Commander that tried took a year to clean the tire tracks off. I eventually wrote his letter of recommendation for his next job so it all worked out. (His Squadron Commander, S3 and XO agreed that he deserved it.)
However there are a fair number of lazy and inept S6s and Signal Officers as a whole that make the rest of us look bad.
My point is that using broad generalities regardless of the view leaves you prone to unforced errors and vulnerabilities.

Haven't heard it called the "Red Army Times" but many fellow soldiers thought the publication was full of shite 99% of the time. It outgrew its usefulness when PERSCOM publshed cutoff scores on the internet for everyone to access.
The two majors who were my OIC in Korea were pretty good. They kept me from being some staff officer's powerpoint bitch so that was nice.

Does not surprise me in the least. The Pentagon is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Deep State. The sooner the cannon-fodder figures that out, the better.
