Yes he's responsible. I'll allow it since it's.... transitory.

Trump’s numbers are in the toilet, but Democrats (as generally described, not a given pol) poll worse than Trump, Congress polls even worse. The American people ain’t feeling much love for their leaders.

Ok, you don’t want groyper support.

So why would you not angle your takes in this thread as a positive for the right?
quote:

The bigger issue is why the Groypers exist and have become such a large/popular movement. MAGA/Trump ignoring that is why MAGA/Trump is becoming the enemy to them.
In your opinion, what is the origin story of an average groyper?

Were the groypers once left leaning? Or, would their demographic be left leaning?
quote:

This is bigger than just the Groypers, though. There are tons of young, disaffected men who don't choose to be faggy like Fuentes who have the same economic status/bleak future that's leading to malaise generally, but specifically with Maga/Trump. You do want these people, and they are also upset.
Is there a risk they vote for the Dem nominee? And flat out, do you think the left has done a better job attracting these kids than the right has?

Given the current trajectory, timing in his 2nd term, and all around accounting for everything heading our way with the next elections and leading up to 2028, do you think these kids would be better off with the Republican nominee or the Democrat nominee?

Are people out here attributing like, this month’s Trump to the whole movement? Shut her down and let’s get back to open borders?

I don’t understand. Wouldn’t these kids rather vet the next group of R’s and see if they can get one who more closely likes their flavor of doing things?

Getting to where ANY of us want to get is going to go through the right. The other way is a literal dead end.

Go back and read my posts ITT

Why do you keep trying to steer this into a discussion about the DEMs?

It's not going to happen

Now you're doing an even bigger digression attempt

Who the hell is talking about open borders ITT?

I don’t think we’re going to get anywhere here.

If these people’s propensity to change their vote, as a topic, isn’t going to fly in a thread about voters being down on MAGA, then I have to bow out.

I don’t think I can operate in the box you’ve given me.

We won't if you keep trying to talk about the Democrats.

That’s crazy.
All the best presidents fly by the seat of their pants and let you know how much they like themselves every time they open their mouth.

Got damn. Never agreed with one of your posts before but this nailed it.
You can’t claim “the golden age of America begins now” and have one of the worst job markets in history.

Correct

And doubly hurtful to the right would be going farther than not voting and voting for Newsome.

But let me shut this post down right now as to not talk about something as random as voting for the opponent in a thread about approval ratings and young people turning away from MAGA.

i don't believe the validity of any of these polls . The majority of the people who approve may not even be taking the surveys

Staying home and non-Democrat options are on the table. That's why trying to force this binary is silly.

Two things can be true at once: you can recognize that the economy feels strained while also believing that Democrats aren’t the solution. That’s where I land. I’d prefer to see Trump focus more on addressing domestic economic issues rather than prioritizing conflicts or tensions involving Iran, Israel, Russia, China or whoever the frick.

At the same time, I don’t pretend to have all the answers. One thing that does seem clear, though, is how pricing works in reality—especially with groceries. Prices rarely move in reverse. Even when inflation slows, that just means prices are rising more slowly, not that they’re coming back down. Once higher costs are absorbed into things like labor, transportation, and production, they tend to stick.

So what people are feeling isn’t imagined—the baseline cost of living has simply reset higher, and it usually stays there.

It's got to be more than that.

I don't think those numbers are accurate, but let's say they are. That represents a 30 fold increase. Not a 30% increase. A 2900% increase.

Those factors alone couldn't possibly result in that kind of disparity IMO.
