This is a longshot at best, but my choice is Ron DeSantis because he is Presidential material. The Florida thing could be worked out by Trump changing his official residence to New Jersey

after this assasination attempt trump MUST have someone ready to go who was a damn good governor. and he has to be ready to go 8 years if need be.
we were almost on the verge of a JFK/LBJ situation just two days ago. i doubt they stop going after trump.
whoever he gets needs to be ultra MAGA if they eventually take trump out.
this is a huge concern moving forward for all involved in the trump camp.

I would be VERY surprised if the pick was Vivek. Trump has disavowed twice now knowledge of Project 2025. Vivek is speaking at the Heritage Foundation today.
