67 or elven or twelve GOP votes.
Maybe every university needs to make their undergraduate students take US government classes like in the state of Texas

That’s right….
They don’t have the votes. Republicans will not totally commit political suicide.

Lisa Murkowski
Rand Paul
Chuck grassley
James Lankford
John Curtis
Shelley Capito
Tim Scott
Dave McCormick
John Thune
Todd Young
That’s ten right off the bat. I’m sure if they reached that total, a couple more dominos would fall to reach the supermajority needed.

Or like 17 or 18 republicans could just opt to not attend

I don't know.
One of the weirdest things about Trump to me is that after he was elected rather than serving the people who got him elected, he went and cozied up with the people that hate him the most.
Neocons were never Trumpers, and then he jumps in bed with them.
I doubt he has the loyalty he thinks he does. They will stab him in the back like they did before.

They want to get elected too.
Vote to impeach is political suicide for a Republican.
Can’t stay in the “Boy’s” club if you slit your own throat.
The only reason Dems won in some races….Republicans stayed home.

The guy just hung out Greg Abbott to dry. He’s alienating anybody that might’ve remained in his corner.
The club will kick him out. The GOP will turn on him. The sooner, the better.

They'll go after Hegseth first. He's the most vulnerable, especially for blowing the drug boats out of the water.

People act like Trump is the only one who can do that job. Vance can do the job, and probably more effectively. You take Trump out of the picture, and the Democrats no longer have an issue to run on.

Wrong.

And the Republicans will benefit from it. It will most likely be for his crypto scam.
I dont understand.. explain it to me like I am 5, how a party that was over-the-top deferential to this guy Trump for the better part of the last 10 years, kissing his arse every chance they got and thanking him publicly at every opportunity and courting his endorsement at every turn, like nothing we have ever seen, as if Trump was the greatest thing since peanut butter.. Explain to me how they will "benefit" from their ultimate hero going to federal pound-me-in-the-arse prison ??
*j/k I know he'll be going to a country club prison , IF he goes at all .

Trump? I doubt it.
Pete Hegseth will get impeached and i could see him getting convicted but he will likely resign before all the servicemen line up to testify about starving and contemplating suicide.

If it actually looked like this was going to happen he would probably resign and Vance could pardon via the Nixon precedent

Good he's a grifter criminal and deserves to be in jail

A deal was made to let Hillary and others off the hook.

Yep. A lot of political capitol was made riding Trump's coattails, but after tonight and with him not being on the ballot again, the power of the Trump and MAGA brand is dead. Now the vermin will begin positioning themselves for what's next and the knives will come out.
Before the Trump phenomenon, back when we were being told you have to vote for leftist Mitt Romney as "the most electable conservative", I felt strongly the GOP has to absolutely die before anything can possibly change for the better. They are nothing but a foil to lightly disguise the international money that has bought our government and prevent any real opposition from gaining ground. My hope is that they are stupid enough in the wake of this mid-term massacre to actually double down on neo-con ideology. That will be the end of them.
