That the UK has since changed its immigration policy and removed birthright citizenship in the 1970’s is irrelevant
We changed our constitution so the relevance of the prior stuff is irrelevant... my analogy stands as correct

Justice Roberts opinion is based on English common law, however that law no longer exist as England get away with it
What was the law/meaning at the time of the adoption of the Amendment? That's what matters.
And English common law still exists

Nahhhh, if your parents aren’t citizens then neither are you.

This makes no sense.
The UK changed their birthright citizenship law relatively recently. We haven’t touched ours since the 1860’s. Nothing the UK did in the 1970’s will ever be relevant to analyzing language written in the 1860’s. What the UK had prior to the 14th amendment, and what certain words and concept meant in common law at the time is what was relevant to the analysis.
I’m assuming you don’t want to ditch a very similar analysis on the second amendment simply because Britain has changed its gun laws since the 1790’s.

Pretty much. But this is what happens when you have such a useless Congress. We shouldn’t need to be relying on the USSC so much after 250 years.
Maybe, but if senate republicans had the balls to create the bill and pass it some district court would rule it unconstitutional with in days and we would be back at the SC who would frick it up again.
Let's face the fact that right now the majority of our leaders are owned by foreign entities.

Kav MAY entertain that but then it's 5-4
And Gorsuch suggested that he would rule against it, making it 6-3 against at best. While Gorsuch joined Thimas' dissent, his own dissent seemed to indicate children born to illegals who are living here long term should be citizens. But he posed it as a question, so its not clear how he would rule on that.

Not with regard to citizenship
You could've just said that

As unusual, the swarm is downvoting you (likely ad hominem), even when you point out the obvious AND you clearly agree there is a problem.
The ruling on birthright citizenship is effectively established law, like it or not.
That being the case, try another tack to get a solution to the core problem.
This board, though, doesn’t readily embrace any ideas that are not Trump-origin or endorsed.
And to think I used to believe hive minds were only on the left.
