What's bad about it? I was genuinely happy Trump was going to pick him. This shows Ron just has to win over MAGA and appointing Lara Trump is a easy way to do it.

I thought you were just misspelling “Carson”. Even with your link I still don’t know who “Carsen” is unless it was misspelled in your link and you are making fun of it here. If you are joking the joke went right over my head.

Carson is one of those very rational and pragmatic and wise men who has probably already been hinted to by Trump reps that Trump would be honored to have him aboard in some capacity and that he has been and would again be a valuable asset to the American people, and “deliberate on the matter and let me know your thoughts.” Carson likely already had his answer ready but out of due respect he prayed on it again and gathered with his family to hear their input, but ultimately concluded that the country might be better served with new and fresh perspectives, not already “jaded” by prior experiences. It was a completely unselfish approach that produced a sound decision from a helluva man.

I have no clue what actually unfolded, but that sounds like classic Dr. Carson.

Mark Halperin was reporting the same thing last week. He said Trump was tired of the negative coverage of Pete and DeSantis would be named his replacement by the weekend. So this story lines up exactly with that. Looks like Trump was going to do it but got pushback from everyone else. I thought people were complaining on here a couple of months ago that Trump talks to much to Maggie. Now he doesn't talk to her at all?

I'm sort of curious as to what "sins" Mr. Barron thinks DeSantis committed. Go ahead, John, tell us what sinful acts you think DeSantis committed.

If Trump is worried about “outside noise”, which you mention, and I’m sure he isn’t, how is he going to burn everything down? The guy that runs on burning it all down is worried about Twitter comments? You better rethink this, or we just elected the wrong guy to take down the “deep state”.

This doesn’t make sense as Trump won.

You mean the gotcha game you play with reposting other people's tweets about some perceived crime that people committed against Orange Man and then reacting like the French revolutionaries or german brownshirts indicting Christian men just like you did?

C’mon people. This is America, is it not? Playa can use verbiage of his choosing to communicate his opinion. Even if you disagree. And even if I disagree. However I still stand for the notion that Desantis made a rather serious miscalculation and error by choosing to throw his hat in the ring at that particular time under those particular circumstances at the time. I also continue to strongly believe that he probably would have set a different course and path but for some bad advice from whomever had that level of away at the time. That, I’m sure, is the foundation of player barron’s thinking.

I don't like it. I wish he was not influenced by it but I believe he is at times, look at Gaetz. I call balls and strikes. Nobody is perfect but I believe Trump is by far the best option to take down the Deepstate. He has surrounded himself with all the right people this time.

Wonderful. Take the unqualified guy for the one with actual experience and strong conservative credentials.

That’s my overarching point. I agree, and I can almost guarantee, these people aren’t shitting on Ron.

If you don't trust someone then that's it and move on. DJT has earned that right.

As a Ron fan, agree with that. In some ways, I think Ron would be a better president than Trump. Having said that, I was voting for Trump 100% of the time. Wish my guv hadn't made that misstep.
