Won't happen but he's right.

The federal government is in too much shite.

Defend the country, have a postal service, regulate interstate commerce.

He’s trolling with this because nothing will change. You are easily impressed apparently.

Well, I'm still waiting to be impressed by a post of yours, but it hasn't happened and I'm not holding my breath.

Obviously having the feds get out of welfare is better, but doesn’t this need congressional approval

He has no idea and no plan to make this happen. Just another day of disjointed rambling

This is what I voted for

Me too. Unfortunately any legislation proposing this solution is DOA with the spineless republicans that we currently and are likely to continue to have in Congress.

Actually we Im not all that pissed. Welfare overwhelmingly affects red states. I live in MS where every broke down single wide has a trump sign and a broke down car in the yard. I hope they all lose their welfare.

THE most active POTUS in history - works 20 hours a day - completely transparent on all but national security plans.

Anyone criticizing him needs to be very specific in their viewpoint - come at us with facts and logic or else you are just like another idiotic moocher.

Sounds great. This is the kind of stuff that should have been pushed day one. That said, if he somehow makes this happen, even w/ all the insane spending he's signed onto and the war, he'd rocket up the list of best presidents ever in my book.

Yep. This is the kinda of red meat that every conservative has supported for 50 years. It’s not some new idea that Trump just happened to think about.

But the main issue is that Trump never campaigned on this issue at all, and he only mentions it now as he is losing support among Rs. If Trump were actually serious about this, it would have been proposed legislation within the first 100 days.

Like the elimination of the income tax, we can file this in the exceedingly large file of over promised ideas and underachieved results.

What specific program? SNAP? WIC? CHIP? Medicaid? Medicare? Federal Student Loans?

(There is no such thing as “welfare”, only programs that people call welfare)

I’ll support if he is referring to the welfare state of Israel

Cut off other countries before we cut anything here

We would save a shite-ton more money doing it here first.

This is the time for the "why not both gif".

So he's going to veto the CR that's about to pass, right?
