Without a doubt

If you've ever met anyone that has similar toxic traits in your personal life you can see their reality play out in similar fashion

It's a sad thing to see honestly

The problem with Trump is that there's a 99% chance that his "idea" was just expressed in its entirety in a few short sentences.

Why do you think it will be different this time?

Paul Ryan is gone

John McCain is dead

Both families are supporting DeSantis. Tells you all you need to know

The issue is Trump has very few allies that can help him

Doesn't matter if Paul Ryan is gone

He won’t do anything because he can’t get the votes to do anything. He will be a lame duck from day one if he somehow wins.

Right. It's just something he made up out of thin air on a whim

And the cult eats it up like he has some genius plan

I’ll take things that won’t happen for $100 Alex.

Sounds good, didn’t happen before, won’t this time should he get elected.

Then say it.

What is your plan?

If he really does have a plan, 8t would be really dumb to put it out for debate now. That would only give Democrats and anti trumpers opportunities to make it impossible to implement. They would sabotage and beat it to death with scare tactics.

Like Obamacare was before the lobbyists got ahold of it?

Do you think Obamacare in any way resembles the "idea" the Democrats had in mind when they started down that rabbit hole?

From "you can keep your plan" to "not one more dime to the deficit" that legislation was abtotal lie.

Popular, my arse. I know a lot of people, myself includes, who can't leave their job because of insurance costs.

Yep. They would rather stall for four years rather than give him any wins.

He will be so desperate to be loved and have a positive legacy too. Will be sad to watch.

If Obama had put the ACA details out in 2008, he wouldn't have been elected.

For the last time we do not have a healthcare problem in this country, we have an insurance lobby problem.

Being serious here. How do you propose that we rid ourselves of this "establishment"? The Senate serves staggered six year terms. The house every two years. Do you think we can be rid of the establishment while Trump is in office?
Well, Trump has been the titular republican leader since 2016. So that's 4 congressional cycles, so far. The problem is... very few Trump-friendly seats have been picked up. The problem isn't election frequency. The problem is winning elections. Trump voters have cost us the last two election cycles in the Senate. Both were very winnable and should have been won.

I can already see a complete shite show if he is elected. Everybody will be the enemy.
This is why the congressional elections of 2020 and 2022 were such a disaster. Those elections neutered any future Trump presidency.

What happens if he comes out with a detailed plan? He will be demonized and his plan will be trashed.

They won't compare his plan to Obamacare. They will compare his plan to a utopian plan that doesn't exist. They will scour the country to find an example of a person who will do worse under Trumps new plan and flood the airwaves with that person's story.
No plan is going to pass Congress without being made public. Or do you prefer passing bills in secret so we can find out what's in them, after they are passed?
