That's a valid criticism, but not to the level you think. Literally everything the Dems in D.C. are doing is divisive, incompetent and criminal. That's not hyperbole. Trump needs a bulldog, and advocate to stand up and fight for his views and policies. Unfortunately, Trump is too much 'his own man'. Even if anyone tried, he'd find something wrong with them and mock his greatest defender. The man simply cannot help himself.

Trump would be right on 99 issues out of 100, but the MSM and even fellow 'Republicans' would crucify him over that last one, and then Trump would go all scorched Earth against them.

Calling my shot right now. An old, decrepit water hag and a cock sucker. won't matter that they're both white either because it's only bad to be orange.

If this is your priority, you might as well write-in Father Christmas on election day. It's not happening.

I don't think it will destroy us. With the seeds of discord Biden has sown, as well as the Dems as a whole for years now, a few eggs need to be broken to make the omelet. Some of what has been messed up, needs a deep cleaning which Trump probably clearly gets now.

I love DeSantis BUT he can't immediately come in and unite. We don't need unity as soon as the Biden regime is out anyway. There is no unity with the mess we now have. Some toes are going to have to be stepped on to clean the mess up first. Let Trump do that heavy lifting THEN DeSantis can come in and smooth out the rest.

Trump needs to fade into history. We don't have time for him anymore. He's a 4 year delay (at least) on moving the country to the right.

We can purge the Leftists and communists, but we can snatch up the actual liberals at the same time if DeSantis is the candidate. That’s 80%+ of the country. Trump will divide it in two at best even if he gets some liberals to vote for him, they’ll be looking to oust him ASAP. I don’t think DeSantis presents this problem being a well educated military family man.

Just wait for the first time it seems like Desantis is the guy over Trump, the MSM will tear him apart just like they did with Trump. Trump was legitimately moderate as can be, but the MSM straight up lied about him. You really think they won't do that with Desantis?

I’m not wanting Leftists with us, I’m looking to recruit liberals. Biden has a 33% approval rating, so it’s on the board with could get around 40% of the Left just as of today nevertheless three years from now. Trump is so disgusting to some liberals they just can’t bring themselves to vote for him, but DeSantis does not present this problem. This is possible if we choose the right person and act decisively and quickly.

I’m sorry, but Trump refused to fire Fauci and still defends him to this day. Absolutely not. I would say that DeSantis will have Fauci and Daszak arrested as his first act in office, but let’s face it they’ll both have fled to China by the time DeSantis is inaugurated. I think they’ll stick around if Trump is re-elected on the other hand.

Here’s the difference: everyone had an opinion on Donald Trump before he ran. He was boorish, rude, obnoxious, a womanizer, and a show off. People do not have this cemented view of DeSantis on mass nationwide. That’s a big difference on what we can work with. Plus they’re going to have to show him in the debates.

Agree. Trump bitched about shutdowns, but did nothing about them. Just fiery rallies.

This board won't like to talk about him hiring Bolton or rolling out the national lockdown strategy with Fauci.

Increased government spending and debt

Worse than that. He and Fauci recommended 'non-essential' businesses to close, then released the stimulus. This ended up being a payoff to large corporations and their Chinese suppliers.

Still pushing the vaccine

If there was any question he was either a part of or a pawn for the deep state, this should answer it.

Also, his mouth creates unnecessary problems and takes the attention away from more important issues.

The only one more cringey to listen to is Biden. Both are certifiable.

Half this board would fellate Trump on command in front of their families. Seriously.

His obsession with trying to claim the vaccine as a positive that should be credited to him is working against him for sure.

Wait now - His DESIRE and DEDICATION to creating a rapid path to getting a vaccine was totally laudatory.

At that point, there was zero 'settled science' on how to best treat this disease - and nobody with any rationality at all would want to NOT work for a vaccine.

Note that the DeMOBocrats all pooh-poohed the very idea of getting a vaccine "in time" - all they wanted was the panic with NO PLAN - so they could campaign against it.

NOW - had we known then what we know now, sure - maybe the rush to obtain a vaccine against a synthetic BIOWEAPON was not the perfect solution. But at the time it would have been dereliction of duty to NOT pursue one.

Don't understand that line of criticism.

I'm open to something new, but Trump has earned more respect than anyone until proven otherwise.

True dat - gave us a glimpse of what a POTUS ought to be - someone grounded in American ideals and working for the PEOPL:E rather than the bureaucrats.

However - I'd like for him to assume the role of king maker and use his influence to bring on younger versions of himself - like DeSantis.
