I thought he's already signed one that had something to do with them.

Who’s paying for them and overseeing them?

ETA: last week, this clown show administration sent letters to 2,000 agencies that provided mental health and addiction support to the public telling them their funding was cut effective immediately. The clowns caused so much chaos and confusion that they reversed this decision before the day was over but lots of chaos and confusion remain.

That’s going to be expensive

Not as expensive as having them on the streets. That’s demoralizing too.

Reagan never should have shut them down and this should be a bipartisan issue. The majority of the homeless people in the country are very mentally ill and can't take care of themselves. Pretending to take care of them by volunteering or donating to you local soup kitchen or food bank, or setting up group shelters and whatnot, is not helping. Any compassionate objective person can see these people need communal housing under constant supervision and meds etc. Basically insane asylums.

The problem I have is the phrasing. It shouldn't matter, but it does. Call them Care Facilities, or anything besides Insane Asylum. Too much pop culture around the term Mental Facility and particularly Insane Asylum.

Midterms really don’t mean shite to be quite honest

It’ll mean a lot if the dems grab the Senate. I would not want to test whether they can get 7 or 8 republicans to vote to convict Trump on impeachment.

If the establishment removes Trump then I was right all along to vote for him. Even as the most ardent supporter of his he is replaceable. Vance would be in the seat and I don’t think the democrats would want that. I also don’t see us losing the house or senate as the left has no change in their platform that cost them the popular vote to Donald Trump, a Nazi fascist rapist, in their own words.

We’ve been needing this for 30+ years. Letting nut jobs on the street and trusting them to manage their own care and take their meds has been an unmitigated disaster.

Unfortunately people will stay home and not vote even though it will be hell if the Marxist democrats win the house

I wish I thought voters were as rational as you imply. There is a decent size contingent that will vote for Biden in one election, Trump in the next, and keep shifting to vote against whomever is in office.

An EO towards not paying sanctuary cities should have been signed on 1/20/25. Perhaps it will change soon but I am disappointed that the so called 'rioters' have not yet been put in their place. And quelled.

Trump hasn’t changed since day one his first term. The ones who aren’t drawing people to the polls are down ballot elections. Wonder why….

For everyone that doesn’t blame Trump for everything they know Congress is the problem. And I’m not saying that’s you either. They can pass and sign an Epstein bill in 72 hours but can’t pass a budget. That ain’t trumps problem.
