He should say I made the mistake of listening to politically biased medical professionals who were so sure they knew what they were talking about when in fact it was nothing more than an educated guess. I won't make that mistake again. I'll consult with Rand Paul and the experts he recommends .

You probably think this is a gotcha, but he wasn't the medical professional. The medical professionals said "We need ventilators" and Trump got them a shite load. It wasn't his fault that the advice was wrong. JOB WELL DONE!

Bingo.

Fauci and Birx were Hailed as the Know all be all in the infectious disease Arena.

Trump WAS TOLD They were THE BEST, at the time he had to follow what they said.

Trump dealt with what he had.

Answer this smart one, will DeSantis win?

There’s still a long way to go.

However, at the moment, you anti-Conservatives and leftists seem to have the upper hand in the primary.

The people pretending to be Conservative have done a pretty good job of shitting all over the Conservative candidate whom they praised a year ago.

You sure are some STUPID frickers.

When it came to Covid, Trump did what he always does. He made the whole thing about him. He was certainly exposed by then as a very weak man with no leadership skills.

I didn’t ask for a tantrum. You called me stupid so I asked if DeSantis will win and you can’t say yes or no. You aren’t stupid because you know he won’t win. Thanks for answering

he let fauci run roughshod over the country. he criticized govenrors for opening "too early". he pushed the vaccine.

he didn't lead. he was pushed around by the swamp.

he definitely put too much faith in faucci....however, he stopped flights into this coutnry from certain countries early on....and was called mean names. he got medical naval ships to NY where thousands were dying.....and their a-hole gov refused just because trump sent them. he got ventilators out fast, masks, processed and in bulk quickly. got the 'vaccine' available and let the choice rest with you whether to get it or not.

regardless of the true causes as we are learning in hindsight, people were dying by the thousands all over the country.....had he done nothing, he'd been fried either way. shouldn't' have given faucci the mic, shouldn't have shut down the economy as long as he did...but there was no playbook in real time on how to handle this....and i'm not advocating that he did great....he did what he could and was crucified by the left, and listened to a CDC "professional" that ended up screwing him.

Covid is definitely Trumps biggest failure, he got played, needs to own it… Still better than any Democrat that could possibly run, and I will crawl over glass to vote for him, but he trusted the wrong people, and got played, no doubt!

None of us knows the future, but I did acknowledge that, as of now, you Anti-Conservatives do have the upper hand in the primary.

You aren’t stupid

Indeed. But, you are.

The ventilators were death contraptions. I voted for Trump twice but he mismanaged Covid, PERIOD. He listened to the wrong people, didn’t have the deductive and reasoning skills to question what he was told by Fauci, Birx and Co. He panicked because he thought he had to do SOMETHING if he was to be re-elected. I’ll vote for him again if he’s the alternative to the Dems, but dude has serious flaws.

The amount of stupidity and Anti-Conservatism in your party may be too much to be overcome.

And all you Anti-Conservatives cheered that Conservatism was defeated!

He could have really turned the establishment on it's ear. He was brow beat into making some bad decisions, and he should have stood stronger with his initial instincts.

No. People think he should have fired Fauci, shitcanned the vaccine, and told all the states to end lockdowns. If he had done that, he would have e been impeached and convicted. They would have blamed him for every single Covid-19 death.

And by "They", I mean the establishment Democrats and Republicans. Trump doesn't have a lot of strong support on the Republican side. The Republican leadership was looking for any reason they could find to jettison him. The corrupt Republicans are just as scared of him as the corrupt Democrats. They just pretend to like him in order to keep their jobs. Liz Cheney was a popular Republican from a deep red state. She came out of the closet to attack Trump and got primaries by more than a 2:1 margin.
