I’m sure you have an email from Act Blue. Check your junk folder.

Well, it certainly gives Democrats ammo for the mid-terms. This is BS and I really do not understand why he would agree to such.

Trump’s plan will be called the “Healthcare Price Cuts Act,” according to White House officials cited by MS NOW, and would address the “surprise premium hikes” resulting from ACA subsidy expirations.
It would require recipients to make a minimum premium payment, according to Axios, and also eliminate the “zero-premium” subsidies currently offered under Obamacare to stop fraudulent “ghost beneficiaries” from exploiting the system – a Republican bugbear.

Great. Now the rest of us have to spend insane amounts of fricking money for healthcare because these lazy c*cksucking motherfrickers don’t want to fricking fix the broken system that is Odumbf*ckCare. Meanwhile, the leeches/Odumbf*ck voters will keep getting free healthcare for them and their nine fricking welfare kids while getting to cut to the front of the fricking line.
Ending the credits without some replacement would be a PR disaster.
Needs a replacement to end.

There is a clear desire for Washington to act on the ACA deadline, with a recent poll from the non-partisan healthcare research group KFF revealing that 74 percent of Americans want to see the subsidies extended, an opinion shared by 50 percent of Republicans specifically.

The shift by the posters here explaining every Trump move is wild.
A month ago it was keep it shut down, this is socialism.
Now they are defending the extension.

Incredible.
Is it?
I think it's completely typical.
I don't have the slightest problem believing it.

The plan is further understood to feature a deposit program that would incentivize people to buy lower-premium options on the ACA exchange.
A long article on CNBC about this. Apparently Scott and Cassidy are pushing this idea.

No, these will be targeted tax credits. Illegals WON"T BE Eligible. More accountability, tighter guidelines, money will be saved. Voters will be happy.

Between my premium and the premium my employer pays for me insurance is approximately $9500 each year which seems very expensive
Posted on 11/25/25 at 7:41 am to DavidTheGnome
Yall do realize they are modifying it right????? Its not what the Dems were asking for. Its not going to allow illegals to get benefits. I mean it says it in the post. ACA is broken and needs to be replaced but unfortunately its what they have for now. Now if they dont do something to replace it over the next 2 years then yea we can bitch then. But they have to start getting policy passed soon and fast.

This thing is so FUBAR it's not fixable but nobody has the guts to just drop it and start all over.

Illegals weren’t eligible for the subsidies previously either

I guess we really are headed to the bottom fast. The strategy of "make them sick so we can manage it" is quite profitable until you run out of other people's money.

WELP - The democrats will have to move on to the next HOAX.
