Just read up on this case. Very strange circumstances.
A group of students (all white) leave the only black guy on the island and he ends up dead? There’s something missing here.

Private citizens can't violate anyone's civil rights. There is no suggestion of governmental action in the death of Nolan Wells.
Since he was found dead on federal property, the Feds could assert jurisdiction. I doubt they want to because there is no good political solution here. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of foul play...but that's never going to stop Pam Bondi's favorite race hustler, Benjamin Crump, from race hustling.
One thing is for sure: there won't be any kind of formal finding by the Feds that is ever made public.

What indication do you have that RACE had anything to do with whatever happened? The white guys who were friends with the black guy suddenly discovered they hated black people...and killed Wells because he was black???

I don't get why this is a big deal. If it were a white kid it wouldn't be a headline at all. Kid gets drunk while swimming in the gulf and drowns. Even sober people get hung up on underwater obstacles or stuck in a hole or taken under by current. This kind of shite happens. If that would have happened while he was in a group of other black people it would be a nothing burger too. The media is just trying to divide us by saying black people and white people can't be friends without an alterior motive. It's election season. Trump doesn't need to fall for the bait.

There has been two or three “investigations l” into this and one of those was done by the family and nothing has been found other than he drowned.
So many lies have been spread about this event.
Google the DA’s response last week commenting on the facts of the case where Ben Crump and the low IQ race baiters were exposed.
Wells don’t even live with his mom because she sucks as a parent.

The entire business is unseemly! There is a considerable difference between extending a courtesy and making a public spectacle of one's willingness to ingratiate oneself with people who have done absolutely nothing to deserve it. One would think a man in a position of authority could distinguish between the two!
