Hate to burst your bubble but if you think admins will do anything, good luck. You are also pretty deep with this NAFO troll thing. I think you are taking Trump not knowing this pretty far as he has a lot going on and Ukraine and Russia are at war. As long as we stop sending millions and let them deal with it I don’t care what’s going on in that region. Russia could beat Ukraine but hasn’t I’m not worried about them trying to come for us. You also know Trump wants to stay out of it and you’ve been largely supportive of the people in those roles.

It could be any number of reasons Trump answered that way. We have no idea what his itinerary has been or if he has even had a chance to speak to one of his advisors at the time the question was asked.
Maybe the phrasing of the question led him to answer the way he did. It was presented like Putin's helicopter had been "caught in the middle of" a bunch of drones.
Maybe it just wasn't an important enough "event" to let the US president know while he's preparing for Memorial Day festivities and speeches, because the Russian side is highly exaggerating what truly happened. (Highly likely)
The fact of the matter is that no one truly knows, yet you have JB completely melting in TDS fashion over it and calling the president and his staff incompetent over several pages.
He's a Russian/Chinese stooge at best, a paid agitator that worked his way in as a "Trump supporter" early on at worst.
