I have a new 3 liter GM Duramax in my Yukon XL. Great engine, quiet and I get 23-24 MPG. My former Suburbsn had the 6.2 liter V8. 16-17 MPG given equal driving habits. If more vehicles were outfitted with Diesel Engines we'd be much better off. There is no reason why Diesel should cost 20% more than gasoline but even at the premium cost the Diesel cost per mile is lower.
REGULATIONS are killing our economy and making costs for everyday citizens more expensive than necessary. Thank God for common sense and Trump.

The new emissions compliant locomotives don't use DEF as the railroads didn't want to deal with the expense of tankcar loads of the stuff nor having to build new DEF stations in their fueling facilities. They use EGR, among other things I don't recall, to meet the numbers.
There are enough differences the hoods over the prime movers (the engine in a locomotive) had to be raised for clearance.

There were some sharp timber guys who made big money under Obama by becoming “bio fuel” producers. I hope their children will be able to still attend Ivy League schools.

I don't think even Trump can make the lumber prices sync with the stumpage prices.

Because if you are a private forest owner you’re getting Fk’d on stumpage.

There is some trickiness going on with this one. The Biden admin never fully committed to the cuts on Federal land logging, in fact they increased that logging and abandoned their new regulations on it. Which is why it is hard for Democrats to honestly bash the Trump admin for this.
Want to make a real impact? Gut the carbon offset subsidies our government pays to the big timber companies and encourage them to log their own lands instead of giving them the run of Fed lands.

I will miss my favorite Canadian Rye … but I’m quite certain I’ll enjoy one of the many great Rye whiskeys made in the good ‘ole USA

In this specific instance, however, all I give a shite about is getting my rectangular paper sacks back instead of these petrochemical plastic ones that spill shite all over my truck.
frick their spotted owl that doesn't even live there.
What was it considered endangered? Because they couldn't find any.
Why couldn't they find any? Because they didn't fricking live there.
The Left's Conclusion: We must regulate them to death and spike trees so loggers get injured.

It is time to get rid of ethanol in gas too. Need to be pure gas and only 1 blend for the country.
