I’m all for addressing perceived bias, or criticizing opinions that are rooted in political considerations rather than the laws of the United States. I heartily disagree with Chief Justice Roberts opinion in Sibelius.

However, the above quoted statement is patently retarded and a perfect example of the ignorance that our population has regarding the Supreme Court

corrupt role in the FISA

Insofar as FISA itself is a corruption of the Constitution and the established values of the United States, I’ll concede this point.

However, if we are going to actually hold officials and judges accountable for our post 9-11 overactions and infringements on Liberty............ then you may as well impeach, investigate, or court martial all but 2 or 3 sitting SCOTUS justices, 1 or 2 former Justices, half of the sitting Congress, hundreds of former members of Congress, dozens and dozens of Cabinet level officials, hundred of military and intelligence personnel, two former Presidents and everyone who voted for any/all of the above.

When it comes to the point of border security...constitutionality established is "Congress can do whatever they want, this doc applies to the people prescribed"

It isn't sad, I love it.

These fricking assholes cannot get away from it.

I hated obama but I just ignored him.

Why? It obviously exists. That was proven in the last administration. All the way to the oval.

This has to give some institutional sting to Roberts, and it might lead to the unintended result of Roberts going softer on the Ninth (though I doubt it).

If that happens wouldn't that prove Trump right and Roberts wrong?

Roberts really isn't the right person to be making the argument for an "independent" judiciary either. Considering the reports that he changed his opinion on Obamacare constitutionality based on Obama's public argument that to rule against Obamacare meant the courts had been politicized.

I said something very similar today to boosie today and he accused me of being a know nothing right wing hack who only reads fringe right wing blogs.

John Roberts has no business on the court when he's more concerned about making sure the court looks above the fray than actually ruling on what he knows is the correct course of action according to and only the law and constitution.

I am very happy that you and your well-educated intellect have cast my “opinion” as “patently retarded” and “a perfect example of the ignorance that our population has regarding the Supreme Court”.
Does CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN ROBERTS shite not stink? Regardless of accomplishment and TITLE, is this man beyond the reproach/standard expected from the rest of our populace? Your projection of Alinsky indoctrination is highly unbecoming. You may be a great person..I don’t know. Your response to my post is highly indicative of a lack of critical thought.

If you think Trump wrote this tweet you are naive.

This does not sound like him or things that he tweets.

It’s good that his communication department made this tweet instead of him

I agree now.

I eta'd:

I see now that I misinterpreted the Tweet. I initially and quickly read the people who are "charged with the safety and security of our country" as his appointees. I see now that isn't what he meant. I'm not good at Twittereese. Ignore me.
