If he wasn't right (Trump) then why was the Left so vehemently opposed to Kavanaugh? Of course there is a left and right. In a perfect world, it should be the way Roberts described but not sure when we ever had a perfect world.

Correct, Republican dominated supreme Court has screwed this country, 87% of time ruling for corporations by a 5-4 decision. Republican led. Scaila and his citizen United screwed the individual for corporations...sad bunch.

My only worry is that Trump has created a Flake/McCain/Corker on the Supreme Court by speaking the truth to him. He's probably going to vote how Sotomayor votes now....
