Yes, it matters. Anyone who did something illegal is open to the consequences.

Doesn’t it matter if Trump campaign members did something potentially illegal?

After what we’ve witnessed the past 3 years, you CAN’T be serious with this.

Sadly, I feel pretty sure you are.

I wonder if Trump survives this curfuffle?

Showing interest in a foreign govt investigating potential criminal malfeasance within its borders by the son of a very high-ranking American official? And no alleged promises or threats from Trump involved? How could he ever survive this?

What Sleepy is guilty of is Extortion

And did it with US taxpayer dollars.

But the usual idiots gloss right over it, even laying out the plot, and going right to trump.

There are two things here that Biden DID they are hoping to nail trump on. Number one, Biden’s son had a sweetheart no show job tied directly to a Ukrainian company and Biden used his power to cover it up.

Sooooooo libs.... where is the outrage?? You have extortion, using the office for gain, and Biden’s son using his father’s position for personal gain. Where is the outrage? Where are the calls for him to quit??

So let me get this right.

Trump should e impeached for abuse of power for trying to get a foreign government to investigate an abuse of power by a former Vice President, who threatened a foreign government if they didn’t allow his son to earn 6 million dollars

The threat is implied. You're being invaded by an adversary that we're helping you hold off with military aid (and an adversary, btw that worked to get me elected). You've already stopped cooperating with the Mueller investigation to keep aid going. If I say what I want 8 times how much doubt is there?

You're a fricking moron. Just to be clear.

It's routine to have staff on these calls for all but the most sensitive of interactions. The IG is a Trump appointee. One of the sources for the original Times story is likely Coats, another Trump appointee. These people are following procedures. These laws were created to correct the pre-church commission abuses of the IC. It's insane to think giving the president unchecked authority over the IC is going to come to something good.

The president is outside the scope of the intelligence whistle-blower statute. That law is intended to apply to the intelligence apparatus and its employees.

It does not authorize a spy inside the intelligence community to spy on the Commander in Chief, file a complaint and then leak it to the media because he has a policy disagreement with the duly elected president.

The president has wide latitude and broad authority when dealing, negotiating, offering or refusing to offer with foreign leaders.

A constitutional one.

The only crime that was committed was by that spy.

You're arguing with the force that worked to get Trump elected.

It’s wrong to ask authorities investigate reports of wrong doing?

Are you stupid?

Wait... Sorry, didn’t see who made the post.
