Yeah, anyone saying it looked better before is frickin retarded.
It's hilarious how these people have to take the opposite stance on him about absolutely everything.
The best part is they're too stupid to realize he does it on purpose just to get them to dunk on themselves. The man could literally take a picture of a frickin turd and say that it's the worst looking turd he's ever seen and these dumb shits like SFP would start talking about how beautiful it is and how they want to eat it.
I liked it better before I think. I don't mind the marble except that there is so much of it. Every part of it seems to be covered in it which makes it look bad.
Keep the marble, but reduce it. Change the floor to some other color or something. I don't know, I'm not a designer but it needs something to break things up.
Also the gold is meh.
The first picture has a different floor than the walls. And then there is the white lines to break things up. A different white tile behind the sink as well. And the non gold fixtures.
If the Trump version just did that kind of stuff it'd look a lot better. Maybe some other color marble or something, I don't know.
Not my house though, so I don't really care. If people get upset about this, they are dumb.

I love that Trump is making his mark on the White House. He sure knows how to rile up the lives and he’s making it better, which is why they hate it so much.

I think I prefer the old version.
It has a much simpler style

Glad our tax dollars are going to good use. Who fricking cares about the Lincoln bathroom. These assholes are so out of touch

The old bathroom was more fitting IMO. The update looks like all the other modern puke devoid of any character
I love me some Trump, but that bathroom is garrish and already outdated passe modernist bullsh*t,

I doubt anyone actually uses the facilities, but that floor looks awfully slippery.

I have to imagine his statement about it being period correct is also wrong. I somehow doubt bathrooms in the 1860s were marble
Marble has been used in homes for thousands of years. You don't think there was marble in a White House bathroom in the 1800s?

Would have been cooler if he did renovate it to look like it would have at the time of Lincoln.

What did you think they used, ceramic tiles...?

Why are people embracing this minutia nonsense? When are people going to get Trump Trolling Fatigue?
Who cares about a simple bathroom-renovation other than the Sky-Screaming Left and the Praetorian wagon-circlers?

There will be a lot of marble and zebra wood in high end homes, but not gold fixtures. An office or bedroom named after Lincoln should reflect him and not a 90’s or 2000’s high end loft in Manhattan.
Not sure where you have been but gold and bronze has made a come back as of 3-4 years ago. Many MANY new high end homes have it

Noooooo noooo noooo...hey that actually looks really nice....noooo noooo.

I'd rather clean the marble one than the painted walls. The marble one can be a lot more sanitary than the previous version.

Why is he destroying the White House!

The original and the renovation are each ugly in their own way.
The original is just anachronistic and dated.
The renovation is ostentatious and tacky.

The White House did not get hot and cold running water until 1853.

Every queen has an opinion on interior design. It's an irresistible topic.

Not even after I'm dead.
The trolling isn't the intent, it is a byproduct. The left and other TDS sufferers can end the trolling whenever they decide to stop being idiots.

If you're into that game, have at it by all means.
To me the non-stop trolling and kvetching is just more silly distractions & diversions -- in other words, an adult "TAG, YOU'RE IT!" What it actually accomplishes is derailing real inquire and scrutiny into policies and agendas.
