Cutting taxes has proven to increase tax revenue reducing the deficit.

Currently the waste in medical including home health supplies for needy & food is bad. Support companies working with feds force unnecessary supplies and shipping. They won’t accept curtailing what they send knowing that none of it gets used.

Trump cannot control the Federal Reserve. He can pressure Congress to cut spending and sign off on it when they do...which is what hes saying hes gonna do.

Sure it does

But domestic producers aren't handcuffed right now

They're producing as much as they want to and they'll produce as much as they want to when Trump gets in. Nothing changes on that front.

Ya, drill stem price ain't going down, along with drilling mud, and deck hand wages ----unless you are punching holes in way South Texas and two thirds of your hands are (gasp) illegals.

He is talking out of his azz when he tries to talk energy. Oil and gas is a Potus of its own. At $65 a barrel WTIM becomes a loss and $65 oil is what it will take to get $2.00 gas.

I understand that, and you’re right.
However, Trump could, in his own way, get in front of cameras and do a 2 min PowerPoint presentation of why we have inflation. Media would HAVE to talk about it, and he’d reach millions with the honest, root cause of inflation.

This is a bandaid.

Donald’s real plan is to try and get elected and piggy back off the economic success of the Biden/Harris administration these last 18 months. Just like he did after Obama

Do you know how capitalism works? Prices are always going to rise. The goal is to have real wage growth exceed inflation. Unfortunately there was a global pandemic that disrupted the economy, and it’s taken 3 years to get back on track.

Real wage growth has outpaced inflation every month since March 2023.

Inflation vs Wage growth 2020-2024

Believe it or not the economy is strong.

Please tell us…why is this the case?
Has it always been the case?

You’re so stupid it’s hard to believe you can process oxygen without assistance.

Gas prices haven’t gone up 40% since he left office? They have. At no point during Trumps presidency did the average go above $3. It hasn’t been under $3 since 2021 and was over $5 in June 2022.

You think it went up because they felt like it? Regulations, limits on future drilling, the “climate crisis” idiocy, on and on and on.

Everything other than the air you breathe costs more if energy costs more. The compounding effect just makes it worse.

If Trump did nothing else but that the situation would dramatically improve.

Yes it has lol. Inflation might have slowed down during longer period of times, but those were usually accompanied by slower economic expansion

Inflation 1929-2023

The whole purpose of capitalism is to keep growing and expanding your economy. Deflation is bad. Deflation brings recessions/depressions.

That chart shows that there has always been inflation, and there will always be.

Not really

Cliff notes:

Wages up
Work week down
Take home pay down.

All those things increase productivity, lower the cost of production (energy), or decrease money printing (government waste).
All those effect inflation.

That's why we had Rona inflation.
More $$$ was chasing fewer goods and services.

I love Trump. This is loads more than Harris can talk about, but that's not a plan. These are talking points.

How is he going to unleash American energy?

How is he going to reign in wasteful federal spending?

How is he going to cut taxes?

How is he going to end destabilizing wars?

That would be a plan.

You don’t just produce “as much as you want”

There is a massive amount of planning and spending that goes into increasing capacity to produce. And this admin told them they would be shut down.
