If Trump maintains the same demeanor and thoughtful reasoning he did in his interview on All In he will significantly improve his standing with many of his borderline naysayers. It even happened on the show.

Side thought: Biden's zombie walks the past few weeks have looked fake … like he's the one doing the deep fake and setting the debate bar low. For boxing fans and / or Boomers, it could be Ali's rope-a-dope.

Sure. They guy is old and physically and mentally degrading. If he's acting, the Biden deserves an Academy Award to go with his Chinese millions.

I think the green card idea is fine. This has been his stance for over a decade - it’s nothing new.

It’s a known fact that a lot of businesses are having problems finding qualified people to fill positions in the tech industry.

I thought that was a very tough interview and Trump handled himself great.. looked and sounded presidential and was very sharp. 2 of those guys hated trump with a passion and after the interview they were even impressed

There were two questions Trump danced around without giving a direct answer and that was by design. You have to be on your A game to be able to dance around questions like he did.

Well first off no one should be coming through the southern border. That should be zero.

After that vetting the people we need would be great. Why not start with college grads?

And a green card is not citizenship.

We don't "need" people. We have people here, that are citizens. If Big Tech and others are concerned about the qualifications of Americans, maybe they should stop helping to undermine our educational system.

This vetting is really hard to do and it would be a disaster to think we could just let any rando get a degree and sufficiently do robust vetting of that group. It's one thing when a person comes from Europe or SW Asia with an MD and wants to come here to be a doctor and practice in the US. Vetting of such people can be done with more depth and precision. But the green card for diploma deal would be a disaster.

quote:

Why not start with college grads?

Because there is no additional vetting or information of substance that you will gather just because someone went to a diploma mill. You will still be completely unaware of all the things in their history or their character. You have much better odds when you require that degree to have been completed in another country, assuming we are talking about professional degrees such as engineering, medicine, etc.

quote:

And a green card is not citizenship.

It's a massive step on the way to citizenship and a huge bypassing and skipping in the line to go from border invader to juco grad / green card holder. Even for people that are on student visas, to then get an automatic green card is absurd. You get to stay here without needing a job or a sponsor or anything - just show up to a juco diploma mill and it's free sailing. Absolute insanity.

If the degree is such a great indicator, the argument will be that you can't deport someone if they are enrolled and on the way to that degree. That means you invade our nation, go to a sanctuary, get student loans, get in a diploma mill and you get rewarded for invading a sovereign nation. You will have cartel members taking night classes for years at a juco and by day they'll be snatching up our children, selling drugs, human trafficking and so forth.

This policy from Trump is idiotic. How anyone can defend this is beyond understanding. If Biden issued the same policy, Trump supporters would be howling at the stupidity and vulnerabilities.

Sad that Trump goes on podcasts (which is a tool of alt righters like Tucker and Joe Rogan) instead of being presidential like Biden

He did very well. Got off topic a few times but gave very good answers at others. This demeanor is a good look for him.

As far the green card idea I think it should pertain to certain majors and 4 year or more degree plans or through certified trade schools.

Joey has always been a fool, a hopeless dope used by the DuPont's. I cannot remember the last time I have ever heard conversations about another President and his inability to function.

Ignorant. We absolutely need high skilled workers, especially in tech.

Trump has to play the Dem game. Say what they want to hear. Then do what needs to be done. Haven’t you ever listened to a Dem , Commie rally.

The difference between the All-in Podcast and the CNN debate, the CNN debate moderator will be asking questions filled with false premises.

Trump needs to calmly dismantle their false premises.

Why doesn't roadGator get a better hairpiece?

See how that works?

The premise is you wear a hairpiece. The premise is false (at least I think it is for this example...lol).
