Tucker, in particular, has become almost a different person. He went from mainstream conservative juggernaut just a few years ago, to easily being lumped in with Alex Jones.

When Tucker pivoted to MAGA and conspiracy theories like the ones around January 6, he became Alex Jones lite. This is when he exploded (juggernaut in your words) and left behind mainstream conservatism.

Some smart people told you he was grifting you in real time. Now you're just seeing the natural evolution of conspiratorial MAGA grifting. Candace is like this too.

Alex Jones has not changed though. His consistent stances predate Trump in politics. Trump has changed. AJ is a barometer for Trump.

Has he? He’s been talking about Iran since the early 80s. Reiterated while campaigning in 2016. Assassinated one of their top leaders during his first term.

He’s been consistent, and clear, on his stance. As someone else mentioned, many isolationists conflate America first with America only, and totally brush off geopolitics as if they don’t matter.

Let’s say what you just typed is correct. Is the nonsense in the OP what you’d expect from a stable leader in war time?

They’ve done absolutely zero with the mandate they were given in November 2024. Trump 2.0 is the epitome of the dog catching up to the mail truck.

In this post, Alex Jones is a paragon of consistency for our esteemed Esquire.

So, if you don't tow the line, the POTUS can use hyperbole and slander to call you out of your name and character?

So sophomoric.

Those in glass houses....

Disappointed on trump’s attack on Kelly. Megyn Kelly helped get that fool elected in 2024.

She called out his rhetoric before the ceasefire and now he’s mad? Also Megyn believes that Israel is blackmailing Trump into this war and I’m starting to believe she’s right.

Megyn’s voice helped Trump win his job back so I’m disappointed he’s chosen this petty route

The weird part is that he came out of the gate looking like he learned DC in the first 4 years, and the first 4-5 months of Trump 2.0 looked like we might see something actually different. I wasn't expecting anything transformational after Trump 1.0 but it did look like everybody had their shite together much more so than 2016.

Now we have this unhinged rambling that looks like a 14 year old missed his meds.

Alex Jones the character may be crazy, but he's consistent.

Majority of voters don’t want democrats. But they have currently zero reason to vote for republicans. Keeping Dems out of power isn’t motivation enough for many to go vote

Probably so. But they take such an approach at their own longer term risks.

If people cede control back to the radical Left again thinking “we’ll just vote our way out of it again”…..well, they haven’t been paying close enough attention to the Democrats for these past couple of decades.

As soon as he came out with infinite EOs and a super majority of them being DOA, I knew they weren't serious about governing or engaging in real change.

I believe Stephen Miller is the architect of this massive failure.

Trump 1.0 operated within the bounds of a typical Republican presidency and was a successful term. If he won in 2020, I think he carries some good economic momentum out of covid and the country is in a much better place. The Biden road bump was a disaster for both parties politically.

I don’t think he thought he had a real shot in 2024 until the Biden debate

The one advantage to Biden winning in 2020 is it gave the Left/DEMs another cycle (or half cycle) of culture where they felt so emboldened they went so far they became, effectively, insane. The typical vacillation of culture went off the rails and normal people and moderate DEMs couldn't support it anymore. That + the economy is why Trump had such momentum coming into 2025.

And yeah they fricked it all up by believing they had a mandate to do stupid and illegal shite.

For the smoothbrains, that isn't saying everything Trump 2.0 did is stupid or illegal.

The tariff debacle is still mind-numbing. What genius decided to attempt to be clever and put hundreds of billions at stake when there were clear, legal paths for tariffs? The incompetency is Biden-level.

No, but that’s been trump’s schtick since he ran for office. Mean tweets, degrading comments, etc.
