You say he's bypassing fake news with twitter. If you look at his page right now he has a full meltdown thread about nothing happening in Obamagate. What is that accomplishing? He's getting his message out that he has no power to bring justice to criminals? Great message.
He's not bypassing the media. He's just throwing them softballs and making it easier for them to ridicule him. No reason to keep giving them low hanging fruit.

I just want him to be more judicious about it. He isn't losing his base no matter what he posts but he will lose suburban mothers.
Not a single article has been written today about ANY of trump's morning tweets. Why? Because they just aren't interested. Stuff about investigations, covid testing, etc.
the tweets that make the news are the bad personal attacks and offensive stuff.

If Ivanka can not get her dad to understand that his tweeting hurts him with white women then nobody can especially not you OP. The people that hate Trump are irrelevant to his tweets. White women that voted for him in 2016 are indeed turned off by it. The word is Trump just doesn’t care too much for political advice. He trust his instincts.... lol

Get Kayleigh or Kelley Anne Conway to run his twitter. If you go back and look at his 2016 campaign, he was floundering until Kelley Anne was elevated in his campaign. She pulls no punches, but is very surgical in her responses.

"CORRUPT INVESTIGATORS NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE"....who does that offend? Which voter reads that tweet and says "that's it, I am voting for biden"/
It's the 5-10% of offensive, personal attack tweets that get him in hot water.

The tweets that hurt him are the ones where he says offensive things about others that can be billed as racially charged or sexist, etc.

I'm beyond the point of trying to claim I know what Trump should do
But my guess is that this stuff "hurts" him simply because it's a distraction very few people are invested in and the election is drawing near
I do think there is plenty of time for things to swing his way (to the extent they need to do so). I just don't think this type of stuff is at all contributing to it.
