why should he give the "press" the sole ability to convey what he says to the public - they're not to be trusted to report truthfully and everyone knows that, hence...

Just give the phone to Kayleigh and have her proof read the message first.

He could be winning bigly with a small adjustment in this area.

Messaging is important

Why this board assumes that Americans are tuned in in large numbers to his twitter account is beyond me.

The media reports virtually all of his tweets.

Trump beat the MSM and the DNC with Twitter and rallies.

This just isn't true. The media reports about 5-10%, aka the really bad/stupid tweets.

Log onto cnn, nyt, wapo, wsj, etc and you will not find a single trump tweet story from today.

Not every trump tweet is a news story.

No, just pearl clutching rinos who still think people like Mitt Romney make the best presidents.
Trump’s approval is strong. Go back and look at Obama’s numbers at this time in his first term. He sailed to reelection against a much stronger candidate than Biden. Trump is as good or better depending on what poll you look at. He’s fine. The recipe works.

Is that a problem when he is getting on AF 1, entering the Oval Office, or any of venues he goes as your President of the United States?

You may feel refreshed by seeing him lash out at NASCAR and a driver, but most people who aren't committed supporters aren't. Talk about something substantial, like how statistically police brutality and systemic racism is bs

He really does need to stop. Most Trump supporters I know all say the same thing. "I love the man but wish he would stop tweeting".

It's not going to get moderate votes. He already has a passionate fan base that are voting in mass. There is no reason to continue doing it.

It's just embarrassing and potentially driving away people on the fence; they just want an alternative to the loony left; by acting like a petulant manchild, it's like he's trying to deny even that

That’s not how people think anymore. They live and die by what’s viral. Trump is a master at cloaking a social message in a viral news story. No one on cable news is going to magnify a Trump tweet about FBI stats, but they sure af go nuts over a Bubba Wallace tweet. Smollet and Wallace are great examples of ways to highlight media hypocrisy, false flags, and the general desperate silliness of the modern left, all in one simply tweet.

Shut up bitch. That’s how he is bypassing fake news and it’s part of why he got elected. What’s unattractive to you is appealing to most of his voters.

He keeps making an arse of himself, and his tweets aren’t convincing anyone to vote for him. They are convincing people that he’s a complete idiot though. If he insists on tweeting, at least get someone to proofread them first. It makes him look stupid and it reflects on his supporters as well. People don’t want to be vocal about supporting a moron.

Think about the mindset behind this post. Seriously.

A literal frickin nobody calling a billionaire who became President a "moron"

Trump is losing this campaign and it's not because Biden is winning. Biden isn't doing shite. Trump is just fricking up big.

He still has time to turn it around and rally but if he doesn't change his tune and channel his campaign he gone

Bingo.

I don't want him to quit using twitter as it gets his message out.

I just want him to be more judicious about it. He isn't losing his base no matter what he posts but he will lose suburban mothers.

His base alone isn't enough to win.
