If Trump had listened to the experts, Hillary would be President.

I’ll trust his instincts.

That said, I am somewhat bothered/amazed at Trump's inability to gain better traction right now.

Because he can’t get out of his own way.

His tweets trigger the media and the dems and they overreact every single time. He keeps them on defense and he’s able to speak directly to the people without the demented leftist media filter.

Grow up. Not everyone is going to think 100% of what any person says is perfect, but to argue that his straight talk strategy is hurting him is crazy. He’s doing fine.

Ah yes he should be silent and let the media correct the record unchecked. There are very, very few things that he says on Twitter that are actually stupid. The dude has an extremely high IQ so 100 IQ brainlets like Don Lemon don’t understand what he’s trying to say and twist his words a lot of the time.

He hasn’t watched his words closely enough at times, but it’s better than him sitting there silently and letting our Orwellian fake news media rip him apart like Mitt Romney.

Twitter isn't Trump's problem. His trolling hot takes are what make these morons short circuit and what makes his Twitter relevant. It is the way he can cut straight to the point and roast these fricking idiots.

It cuts both ways though. His biggest problem has always been, and always will be, is his massive fricking ego. Twitter gives his ego an immediate outlet to express displeasure but can serve as a detriment.

Why this board assumes that Americans are tuned in in large numbers to his twitter account is beyond me.

His tweets don't get seen on Twitter alone. They are shared everywhere, including tv.

I cringed when he first started. Hindsight: if he had never used it, we'd be in deep shite today. Leave him alone. He knows what he's doing.

I'm not disagreeing that Trump does himself no favors with his tweets. But you're beating a dead horse. Just let it go

I disagree. I wish he didn’t have to be as active on tweeter; however he can’t rely on the media to be fair and unbiased so I appreciate him basically forcing their hand in actually reporting some news.

Twitter is how he lets us know the fricked up shite going on in DC.

When he took to Twitter and claimed that his campaign was being spied on... everyone said he was lying. Msm threw a tantrum and said he was just nervous and scared. Then over a year later.. we learned that his campaign was indeed spied on.

He took to Twitter and said that the FBI were corrupt. Msm, Democrats and top FBI brass said he was lying.

A year later... we learned that the FBI was indeed corrupt. Comey was lying to the potus on a regular basis. Strzok and Page sent texts, plotting to use any means necessary to oust trump. McCabe and Comey would leak half truths to the media.

And when a normal person on the fence sees one of his dumbass tweets full of typos and nonsense they think, “what an idiot.”

Biden is a senile child molester who can’t finish a complete sentence and Trump is losing to him. Let that sink in.

It's totally not beyond the realm of possibility that Twitter purposefully "autocorrects" his tweets. No doubt you're referring to the "1/100th" tweet from this morning, and on my phone's keyboard, the "/" isn't even on the front keyboard. I have to switch to symbols to access the slashes.

so he almost exclusively communicates in a manner that is only directed at 5% of Americans?

Seems stupid
