We need a couple of more weeks to clean out the missiles and those who would shoot them. And get the ME Nations to go on record and fight against Jihadist ideology. China will suffer if they don't get on board with oil production and stable delivery mechanisms.

Patience matters. This is big.

Exactly. Isn’t it funny to watch the democrats pretend like they’re suddenly concerned about gas prices now.

They all demanded to support Ukraine with no care in the world for gas prices when that war started in 2022. Prices soared to the highest in years.

So we can just preempt bombing any nation that can in the future change global economics?

Egypt and the Suez Canal?

Indonesia and the straight of Malacca?

MAGA sure is opening up the indications for war.

SECWAR touts our military dominance over them, but that’s obvious.

So because this is obvious you decided you had to manufacture a crisis to be used to actively root against the US

Which makes it equally obvious what a POS you are.

It’s March 7th. This operation has been going on 7 days. And you manufactured an Emergency! That needs to be fixed by”the end of the month”….. 24 days from now. Or you’ve concluded the world will go into recession

Go frick yourself.

When you’re hatred for Trump is so bad that it spills over into outright hatred for your country as a whole

You start talking about how your enemies play things perfectly.

You’re searching for the logic in a post from a POS…… don’t.

If it’s in our best interest to do so, yes. Are you under the opinion there is someone to stop us or some authority that decides what’s “fair” or that fairness should even be a concern here?

Iran been planning to shut down the strait for 40 years, they’ve mined it before, time to cut off their head. Probably send a good message to the others you mentioned if they need a reminder.

I wouldn’t say masterfully. They have gotten their arse kicked so far and are desperate. But this is a smart tactic. They know the only way they can “win” is to drag this out and slowly weaken Trump domestically. Sky high gas prices in a prolonged conflict are going to send Trump’s approval even further into the gutter.

We have multiple threads on this board and it has been the administration’s position that we are fighting a war started by Iran in 1979.

Egypt Chad the canal closed as recently as 1975.

Iran had never closed the straight of homuz until we took out their leader.

It worked out by causing massive worldwide increase in costs for shipping for 8 years.

Thus impacting the worldwide economy.

I guess we should bomb them then?

I mean they don’t just threaten it.

They do it.
