Despite spending trillions the economy only grew from $19.148 trillion in q1 2017 to $22.313850 trillion in q1 2021--an average growth rate of 5.4%.

Since then (Q1 2023) it has grown to $26.465 trillion for an average growth rate of 6.25%.

Biden basically continued Trump's spending somewhat and over a couple of years the people Trump was paying to stay home came back to work and Biden could not get more unemployment benefits through Congress for them.

So much for the myth cultist say about the booming economy Trump left us with. Many of them liked it because they were collecting the money to sit home I suppose.

We need conservative, smaller government and Trump did not and will not provide that.

It's a heck of statement that Sleepy Joe, a complete idiot, orchestrated a better economy than Trump left.

Disqualifying idiocy right from the start.

Name the last administration that DIDN’T spend trillions.

let's shut everything down today, and then restart in a year and see what kind of growth rate you can come up with then.

And this, mind you, is why democrats fought tooth and nail to keep the economy closed for as long as possible. So that a pseudo-intellectual could try and make this argument. It doesn't even matter which side makes this argument, they both will. This is just but one flavor of the dishonesty. The ecconomy is sooo great you guys!

Not a Trump fan at all, but since you did Nominal GDP, try doing Real GDP and taking into account the highest inflation in 40 years.

Well except that inflation minor details. You know the one that caused economic plight to 75 percent of Americans. This also is the reason for value of dollar decrease which caused upwards to 30% cost increases in goods. Yep those pesty facts

Would not an inflation addled dollar affect the bottom line GDP dollar amount? If goods and services are 20% more, even a decrease in production could result in an increase in GDP.

Wow. You must have some kind of counter cyclical 401 k.

S&P index had recovered to 3756 at the end of 2020 after having collapsed to 2304 in March--the last year of Trump's administration.

The S&P stands today at 4136.

You need to find a better argument for the Orange Man than the economy. Any thinking person can see that argument is a loser.

Maybe you can proclaim the virtues of Trump's trusted advisors like Kanye, Lindell, Powell, Hill, Omarosa??

Utter horseshite. You can't find a single rational person that will say the economy is better now than under Trump. Even dems would reluctantly agree if you got them drunk.

However, Trump's economy, while better than Obama's before him and Biden's after him, was not the greatest economy the world has ever seen.
