I think he is far too polarizing.

Someone who can win in the suburbs will be the nominee.

What is needed are Trump style policies packaged and delivered by someone not named Trump.

The VA election made it clear - use your assets wisely. Use Trump where Trump is king. Focus on the electorates needs. VA needed someone to focus on VA issues, not DJT.

Biden is hot garbage. A very simple 'play to your crowd' in purple states strategy will win big in 2022/2024.

They’d rather support some RINO who’s going to get destroyed by Trump in the primary.

It’s a simple question does Desantis govern the way he governs if Trump never came along ? Trump is not a politician, and that’s why he will always get my vote .

The Dems want Trump to run more than anyone.

They and their corrupt media can make a case against him. They severely struggle when races are about policy.

The problem with this theory is that those suburbanites are (by and large) not the voters who drive the party primaries.

It would not surprise me in the slightest to see Trump stalwarts dominate the primaries and nominate him for the position, only to lose the suburban vote again in the general election.

I don't think that would happen. We need to wait and see.

Agreed.

My personal opinion is that every election authority should generate an “after action report” after every election, in order to identify any irregularities or deficiencies, and correct them prior to the next election.

Call it an “audit,” if you will.

I think that would be an excellent idea.

RD is the better candidate. People will vote against Trump just because.

All these elections prove one thing - Biden is doing exactly what we expected him to. He's polarizing this country with real programs that hurt americans. Gass prices, inflation - things that every republican will be able to run on including a newly restored and ready to fight DJT.

Trump very well might win if he runs.

Desantis will destroy his opponent...whomever it is.

I would rather hedge my bets at this point in history. It's no time to take chances of losing the WH for another 4 years.

Donald Trump is a loser. I don't like losers. I'll be voting for DeSantis.

To Democratic pussies, I'm sure he probably is.

Virginia had over 960,000 mail-in votes in 2020. Trump didn't lose because he hurt cuckold men's feelings, he lost because Democrats cheated via mail-in.

You guys better start building back your safe spaces because Donald is coming back.

Break down voting by precinct and you will see the science behind the cheat. It was not all due to mail-in ballots and frankly the cheaters do not need mail-in to be able to steal another election.
Although this is true, mail-in vote fraud was a huge component of the steal.

I don't think Trump will be as sharp in 2024 as he was before. Age declines rapidly past 70 and he will not be able to debate like he did.

Some on here are making a grave mistake. They’re starting to listen to the MSM propaganda that “Republicans cannot win with supporting Trump”.

I think everyone knows what the MSM will do at this point.

Trump is cemented as a poisonous candidate in the minds of a lot of people that Republicans MUST win over in the next election.

The Republicans must move on from Trump himself but maintain the ferocity of the culture war against the democrats.

They are the same type that voted for JBE because Vitter was a cheater and Rispone was a meany.
