I know everybody wants Jeff Sessions gone but has too many friends in the senate protecting him and they would refuse to confirm the nominee Trump wants or at least make the process so painful they force Trump to cuck out and appoint another Rosenstein for AG.

They've likely informed, actually well made this threat, to Trump about this if he actually fires their boy Beauregard Sessions.

A wise lesson here, don't give cabinet jobs to people who have way too many friends in the senate if there's a chance you could fire them and you still need those same people to approve your new hire.

We should re-watch his confirmation hearing and re-confirm his friend list.

Nah, McConnell and Graham are weak when it comes to Trump. Their legs turn to jelly when he puts the heat on them.

More of a reason to fire Sessions. President could use 4D chess to make his loyalists turn on their GOPe senators and vote them out in the primaries and replace them with MAGA candidates.

Bears repeating.

The swamp protects its own and sure as hell will do just that against someone like Trump.

Sessions didn't give any warning he would recuse himself before trump hired him....or else he wouldnt have been hired.

The other lesson is to not appoint a Senator when you can't rely on a dumb-as-shite electorate to nominate an electable replacement.

Trump was supposed to be different. Willing to rock the boat to do what's right and "drain the swamp".

If your OP is really his reason for not firing Sessions, then he is not the man he said he was.

Dude, Alabama is the reddest state in America and them electing a democrat had a worse chance of happening than me having a threesome with a few Dallas cowboy cheerleaders.

Nobody, I mean absolute nobody saw that coming until it was too late.

Dude you can bet your arse after the midterm election Sessions is gone.
I see it as the sole reason he hasn’t fired him yet.

When what you want to do is contingent on the approval of 51 senators who are recalcitrant to change, it's hard to rock the boat.

The senate is a hell of lot harder to game than the house.

His point wasnt necessarily denigrating electing Jones, but nominating Moore. That was terrible.

Anyway, to your op, Sessions is a deep state mole. Q constantly defending sessions is why I'm fairly confident they are either CIA cointel psyops or just a LARP.

Uh short of an electoral realignment and ideological shift, a deep red state electing a democrat is only possible if the GOP primary nominates such a shitty and terrible candidate that can't even win against a baby killer like Doug Jones.

And that's what happened.

Exactly. Anyone with basic math skills could have seen this coming. Having two other viable candidates each with egos too big to get out of the way for each other is what got Moore nominated. If Moore only had one opponent...either opponent...in the primary, he's defeated and the seat remains red.

I'm less surprised the Alabama gop nominated Moore than you, apparently.

Was Trump and the national GOP supposed to have a time machine to see who would be running in the GOP primaries or something like that to see if giving Sessions the AG post was a good or not?

They assumed that the reddest state in america would elect a republican to replace sessions, not a democrat. Basic math skills told them that was a almost like a 99% probability.

This isn't Nevada or Florida dude.

This isn't hard.

Just another convenient excuse for Trump's inaction.
