Just imagine how much he could get done if he didn’t have the current media set up against him or bullshite investigations from day one

Do you really think the American people are against troop withdrawals? Of combating illegal immigration?

this place. Where did he say anything about “worship.“ He simply expressed the opinion that EVEN Jimmy Carter is better than the current buffoon. I disagree, but barely.

Now this is just one thing that I voted for.

I don't want endless war in the mideast but I do want to build up our military to something so strong and powerful no nation will ever dare challenge us.

Obama did a number on our military and left them quite depleted. In fact, a significant number of our navy and air force fighter jets are not combat worthy and there was a recent study that showcased how we could lose a war to Russia or china.

Me and Trump want the same thing and that's avoid war at all costs but continue to build up the military.

You can blame congressional moderate republicans and democrats for this. Hell they're still doing it.

I think that the temperature of the American public on both issues is entirely dependent upon how you want to ask a question.

Do you want to bring American troops home? Of course. Everyone wants that. Do you want to fight terrorism overseas or on American soil? Whoah, do you think the answer might be different?

this is why I have always stood firmly in the conviction that “any political position position that will fit on a bumper sticker is de facto too fricking stupid to even deserve consideration.“

Actually - most people would not agree with that. Hence why Jeb rolling out in South Carolina was a huge miss. People are tired of the perpetual war.

And to your point about Carter, unless you’re basing your opinion off of emotion or optics, there isn’t anything remotely better under Obama than Trump, hell W for that matter either

Trump is a true transformative president. Neither side can debate this. Because he is not of the establishment and is not in the pocket of special interest, he can cherry pick his positions and pivot when and where he wants. There will never be another president like him.

admittedly, I am a tiny bit more hawkish than the average libertarian. Otherwise, I defy you to find any post from me on this forum that is not consistent with libertarian ideology.

I will wait.

i have laid it out before pre election for idiots here

the vast majority of trumps policies are conservative.

that does not make him a moderate. he would need equal liberal and con stances to make him that.

you must have liked bush and romney and mccain huh?
