Not for everything they may need. The WHitehouse has an excellent trauma center for treating serious injuries - bullets, blasts, etc. They do not have "normal" hospital capabilities.
This could be very routine I imagine the optics of him heading to WR will be out soon.

Instead of being cooped up in the east wing they are sending him to his own part of Walter Reed. This seems like a good move by his docs, if he gets worse symptoms they know right away. He is in the best hands possible right now.
