They now have them at Sam's Club.

After spending the last 2 weeks in Europe, we definitely have it great here when it comes to grocery store prices... even after inflation. Most items were noticeably higher, a few better, but the biggest eye opener was detergent. A small container (22 loads) was $12 Euros. That comes out to about $14 Dollars. The stuff I buy at Sam's is like 150 loads for $16 Dollars.

My take as well. We'll see if the price reductions are long term.

Yes, this is based on food stamps now, since Uncle Sam isnt footing the bill; Walmart is feeling the squeeze
Maybe the government needs to start asking for a discount on food stamp redemptions like they do with health care.
For every dollar spent on Food Stamps the government pays 75 cents. Store eats the cost of the 25 cents or raises the costs for everyone.
Next thing you know a can of beans is going to cost 40 dollars.
Heck, I wish someone would float this idea for the Food Stamp program, make it a 50/50 cost share with the recipient. That way it would force people into deciding what stretches their dollar more if they have to pay half.

So now we want Government price controls?
Have we learned nothing about government interference in business.
Bernie Sanders must be smiling.

No. Didn't say that. It might be good for the populace to have a good understanding of reality.

I am poor, mainly because the kids and grandkids expect these when they show up at my door
