"Great news! I have just been informed that one of the biggest, best, and smartest Retailers in America, Walmart, will be lowering prices, by a lot, at my Administration's request to celebrate our great Country's 250th birthday," President Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social on Monday.

Just putting together our grocery list for tomorrow and was stunned at the price drops

6-pack soft drinks - $7.49
Walmart - $5.37
Competitor - $3.75

Frozen pizza - $7.49
Walmart - $5.97
Competitor - $6.99

Butter 4-pack - $5.99

Competitor - $3.99

This is basically an admission that all of these companies have been ripping people off under the cover of inflation

If you’re poor enough to actually do your own shopping, you’ve noticed that the overall number on the checkout machine is bigger than it was in the recent past. Even if that’s not painful for you.

No point in pretending otherwise.

Yes, this is based on food stamps now, since Uncle Sam isnt footing the bill; Walmart is feeling the squeeze

If you don’t do your own shopping then how do you even know what the checkout machine says in the first place??

I would posit that one who doesn’t do his own shopping would not see the number. Why are you confused?

Kroger was one of the competitors in my area. Also, Albertsons, Brookshire, and Target

You specifically asked him...I'm not sure you understand how the English language works.

You’re making that assertion based on this tiny bit of commentary and “discourse?” I must say, that seems a tad over the top. Maybe a bit hyperbolic. Just a bit.

Honkey kool-aid

Talk shite about Milo’s tea and see what happens.

Your trip to the socialist reformation camp will come early.
