And it has nothing to do with using Taxes.
Trump mentioned a dividend/rebate check could be given to American citizens out of the enormous Fraud + Waste DODGE was discovering, finding & eliminating!
Add the above Doge $$ to Trump's brilliant move to enforce Tariffs on countries that have been charging/screwing us for decades, which has netted over $200 Billion in less than 2 years.
$5,000 checks seem perfectly reasonable to me. Trump already mentioned that he would push for them. Trump "found" the $$. When the Dem's hand out the cash - it come straight from your & my pockets (Taxes).
Trump is just following up from someting he said might be possible, as well as correct and fair.
