The same people who are so worried about being surveilled by big brother are angry because states aren't fully submitting to their orange Master for his vanity project. Statist scum.

Don't they want to look into where there maybe voter fraud? I guess the answer maybe a little too obvious for everyone.

They certainly castb a broad net for something that likely isn't that large of a problem.

This entire exercise is nothing more thanTrump playing to his " base"

I doubt it. They'd probably still be talking about Russia.

Gotta love all the lib's on here who mocked this investigation, now realizing Trump is probably right...again, and are now applauding the states who wont cooperate, while 8 months out are still crying the voting process was compromised by the Russians causing Hillary to lose. They fully support that notion and are clinging on to this stupid Trump/Russia investigation that is based off a lie. Pathetic.

I think what everyone is missing, if evidence of voter fraud is found it effects all forms of government from city, county, state, up federal. This scares the crap out of a lot of career politicians both R & D's especially the local and state ones.

Imagine if fraud is found what local populations will start thinking about if their candidates lost by a slim margin to some career poli when they are try to change their local communities where they see corruption.

As most/every politician does these days. These last 11 years have solidified my total lack of trust in both sides of the aisle. Just like society its all about me,me,me and not about whats best for our country....but the banter is fun.

The biggest voter fraud that takes place is not illegals, dead, or felons voting. Instead it is voting for people that you know will not vote. Easiest to do but hardest to catch when states don't have voter id

You're exactly right. He's trying to suppress the votes of illegals, felons, and dead people. I love how delusional moron leftists actually believe that our country was founded on the principle of "EVERYONE getting a vote and a voice!!1!!" and that it's somehow voter suppression to not allow every single person who walks into a polling place to pull the lever. fricking idiots man.

Because the law is clear in what info they can provide and what has been requested far exceeds what is required

25 states are refusing to do so because the data they are asking for exceeds what is necessary to perform the investigation.

In California, almost all of the information requested can be legally sold by the local county registrar to candidates and other researchers. Only last 4 SSAN isn't available, and the request acknowledges that it might not always be. How is this any different?

In truth, there is a good argument that the feds should allow the states to handle their own affairs, of which oversight of voting is one. However, I am highly suspicious of some of the motives of the leadership in California on the point.

I am going with 3 million plus illegals voted...unless proven otherwise...and all those who have mocked Trump's claim can stfu now.

plucking number out your butt. Trump picked a number, which if true, would mean he didn't ACTUALLY lose the popolar vote. there is no basis in fact for the number you copied from Trump.

The problem is Kobach and the idiots running that commission. They are rightwing political hacks whose actions and words in the past have indicated an attempt to try to make it harder for legitimate voters to vote.

How do they know what is necessary for the investigation if they aren't the ones preforming it?

What are they trying to hide?

No one is trying to hide anything. Why dont you read up on all points here before assuming Trump is on some truth quest and the mean ol' states are hiding from him.
