The average American doesn’t have what it takes to make it through pre med in college, much less medical school which is 10x harder.

I can attest to this because I did it. I also saw who I grew up with and how hardly anyone else had a snowballs chance of accomplishing it.

They give the slots to foreigners because they make the test scores that the residency/fellowship program directors require to rank them high on their match list.

Go walk around Harvard’s campus sometime and you’ll notice the majority of the students are Asian. They bust their arse and make the test scores needed to get in.
