This may shock you, but different states have different laws.

There are only a handful of States with runoffs to ensure a majority victory. Most elections in the US are first past the post/plurality elections.

I hope so... I'm not voting for him in the primary. That said, if he wins that of course I'll hold my nose in the election.

Early voting is on now- I'm having a hard time picking a few candidates, I think I'm almost ready.
