This may shock you, but different states have different laws.
There are only a handful of States with runoffs to ensure a majority victory. Most elections in the US are first past the post/plurality elections.

I hope so... I'm not voting for him in the primary. That said, if he wins that of course I'll hold my nose in the election.
Early voting is on now- I'm having a hard time picking a few candidates, I think I'm almost ready.

Don’t know why the corn and soybean farmers would be mad at President Trump. His administration has pushed for more veggie ethanol in our fuel.

It does not shock me at all that other states have different laws. There is one state that even operates under a different code than the other 49. However, it is quite apparent that without a majority of 50.01%, is the representing candidate really the best choice?
